The deaths of 133 people a week on the outskirts of the Russian capital should raise eyebrows. Although the men initially claimed they were not involved in the crime, they confessed. In 2017, they were sentenced to seven years in prison in court. Most of the men were convicted of charges including kidnapping, attempted murder and certain sections of the Criminal Procedure (Protection) Act.
