More than 40 people killed in Israeli strikes on Syria’s Aleppo: Reports

More than 40 people killed in Israeli strikes on Syria’s Aleppo: Reports

More than 40 people, mostly soldiers, were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Syria's northern Aleppo province, according to media and war observers.

Lebanese military groups confirmed that five Hezbollah members were among the dead. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), headquartered in England, announced the death toll as 42 and reported that many people were injured. Reuters reported that a total of 38 people died.

The Syrian Ministry of Defense said the attacks targeted several areas in the Aleppo countryside around 01:45 on Friday (22:45 GMT on Thursday). Syrian state news agency SANA reported that there was no loss of life, only some civilians and soldiers lost their lives and property was damaged in the attacks by Israel and unidentified forces.

War observer SOHR said in a statement to X that Israel attacked a weapons depot near Aleppo international airport, causing large explosions.

He added that at least 36 Syrian soldiers were killed and Hezbollah's weapons depots were located in the region.

The Israeli army did not confirm these attacks.

Al Jazeera correspondent Zeina Khodr reported from Beirut, Lebanon, that while Syrian state media did not disclose the target, local rebels said Syrian army and Hezbollah soldiers in Syria were killed.

“Recently, we have seen almost consecutive Israeli strikes in Syria as it widely hits Iranian targets in Syria,” Khodr reported.

Israel for years has carried out strikes in Syria, where Iranian-aligned groups, including Hezbollah, hold sway in eastern, southern and northwestern areas of the country as well as the suburbs around the capital, Damascus.

Have a childlike curiosity about technology, but never been a slave to it: PM Modi to Bill Gates

Have a childlike curiosity about technology, but never been a slave to it: PM Modi to Bill Gates

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his chat with Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, shared a glimpse of what kind of a personal relationship he has with technology. The Prime Minister as well as Gates, were very keen to know about each other’s journey with tech.

When asked about his relationship with technology, Prime Minister Modi revealed that although he is fascinated by technology and is innately curious about all innovations, he has never been bound by it, and was never a slave to it.

“I am fascinated by technology. I am by no means an expert, but I am curious about, almost like a child,” said the PM. "But I am not a slave to technology. I am always looking for new technology and new developments in technology, but I have no reservations about how to integrate and use it."

The President explained how he sees new technologies and his relationship with them. "When the world started talking about artificial intelligence, I started to think that we could integrate it into our lives," he said. “I also tend to look for technologies’ multifaceted applications and utilities. I have this innate curiosity, maybe a gift from god to explore and adopt innovations swiftly,” PM Modi added.

PM Modi was also curious about Gates’ journey in tech. He asked the co-founder turned philanthropist, what was the most satisfying moment of his journey as a tech honcho.

“I was lucky to have been born at the time when the chip miracle happened,” began Gates. “I got a very good education. I have an optimistic view. I was able to drop out of school to take risks didn’t seem that dangerous to me,” he said.

Pulling the strings: Obama telling White House what he would do as Biden doubts grow

As President Biden appears to get more unpopular, weaker, and frail by the day, former President Obama is stepping in to give the White House advice on what should be done to save the country from former President Trump.

Poll after poll is now showing Trump clobbering Biden in the upcoming presidential election and Obama is beginning to panic over it. Suddenly, he is riding to the rescue. The New York Times is coming right and saying it these days.

“As the election approaches, President Biden is making regular calls to former President Barack Obama to catch up on the race or to talk about family. But Mr. According to the New York Times, Obama is calling on White House director Jeffrey D. Zients and his aides in the Biden campaign to provide advice and recommendations.

"This partnership demonstrates Obama's support for Mr. Trump." Biden, also Mr. Obama's biggest concern is Mr. Biden will lose to former President Donald J. Trump. One of his senior aides, who was not authorized to speak publicly, said Obama was "constantly" worried about Biden losing. The assistant added that he was therefore ready to 'get along' with the former president in an election that could be narrow in many states. "More news.

Obama doesn't seem to be a big fan of Biden and warns President Trump could sweep swing states in November election.

"Obama's 2016 bid to let former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton He reportedly urged not to run for the Democratic nomination. Although they supported him in 2008, the former president did not support Biden until after the administration in 2020. The Washington Examiner noted that he bought tickets in 2012 and 2012.

Trump currently leads in nearly every swing state, according to national polls. That fact alone has Biden inserting himself into the mix and taking control of the narrative. Whether Biden can make it through election day remains to be seen but Obama will be there pulling the strings, holding the president up as long as he can in what increasingly mimics “Weekend at Bernie’s.”
