A Sealdah court on Friday showed dissatisfaction when the Central Bureau of Investigation's investigating officer and attorney did not show up for the hearing of Sanjay Roy, the main suspect in the sexual assault and killing of a 31-year-old medical student from Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.

The court additionally sent the defendant to 14 days of legal detention. Sanjay Roy will be held in legal confinement until September 20 under the observation of the CBI.
