Return or face my anger -DeveGowda warning to grand son Prajwal

Former Prime Minister and BJP leader HD Deve Gowda issued a stern warning to his son-in-law and sex offender Prajwal Revanna, asking him to return to the country and surrender to the police. He said that if the accusations against Revanna were true, she should receive the harshest punishment.

In a two-page open letter titled "Warning Prajwal Revanna", the 91-year-old man said he was not aware of the allegations against his son-in-law, who is currently an MP for Hasan. In his long and touching letter, he said: “The harshest words have been used against me and my family over the last few weeks, I know that. I dont want them. I don't want to criticize them. I will not argue with them that they should wait until all the facts are known. I also can't trust people I don't know about Prajwal's activities. I couldn't convince them that I had no desire to protect him. I could not convince them that I had no knowledge of his whereabouts or his travels abroad. I believe I will answer my heart. I believe in God and I know that God Almighty knows the truth.

Deve Gowda also warned Prajwal, who fled the country a month ago, to return if he respected his grandfather. He further wrote, “There is only one thing I can do. I can give Prajwal a warning and ask him to come back immediately and surrender to the police. He needs to go to law. This is not an objection, but a warning.

Deve Gowda also told Prajwal that disobedience to the family would lead to complete separation. "If he does not heed these warnings, he will face the wrath of me and his family. The law will prosecute him, but disobeying the family will keep him alive alone. Respect me, he must return immediately," he added.

Nikki Haley says she ‘will be voting for Trump’, calls Joe Biden ‘a catastrophe’

Nikki Haley announced her intention to vote for Donald Trump in her first national security speech since suspending her presidential campaign.

Indian American politician Nikki Haley said on Wednesday that she planned to vote for Donald Trump even though the former president "wasn't perfect" on policies important to her, but that Joe Biden's President First "had a disaster."

At the Hudson Institute in Washington, D.C., Haley gave her first speech on national security and foreign policy since dropping out of the presidential race in the middle of the presidential campaign. I've said this many times.

"But Biden is a disaster."

"That's why I'll vote for Trump." He did not support Trump more than two months into his presidential campaign and called for him to "win the votes of the people in our party and the people who do that." But the previous hopes are not a call for support here, but hopes that Trump will include the millions of voters who want him in their lives.

"Trump would be wise to reach out to the millions of people who voted for me and continue to support me, rather than assuming they only support him," he said.

His support for Trump dovetails with his work as the Walter P. Stern Professor and president of the Hudson Institute. This fact can be explained by his criticism of isolationist interests in the Republican Party in his speech.

He harshly criticized President Joe Biden's foreign policy. “There are large segments on both sides who want us to ignore our friends, appreciate our enemies and focus on our internal problems,” said former UN Ambassador

. "This worldview has made the United States very dangerous - and the threat grows by the day."

"Nothing has changed for the millions of Republican voters who continue to vote against Donald Trump in his administration, who care about the future of our democracy, who work with our friends," Biden spokesman Michael Taylor said. Work across campaign lines to ensure success for the American people.

Prosecution rests in Trump hush money trial, after former fixer Cohen is grilled

Prosecution rests in Trump hush money trial, after former fixer Cohen is grilled

The case will end in Trump's money-making trial after Cohen's former doctor came under scrutiny. Responding to the allegations against Donald Trump, Cohen said that the former president is in good condition. The defense portrayed Cohen as a liar.

The Manhattan criminal trial, the first against the former president, is now in its sixth week, with closing arguments set to begin Tuesday. But New York Judge Juan Melchan said Monday that the hearings will continue until after Memorial Day.

In a long, slow and disjointed cross-examination, Trump attorney Todd Branch continued to press Cohen Monday for evidence that would convince jurors that the former Doctors cannot be trusted.

Cohen's earlier testimony that Trump paid porn stars to remain silent ahead of the 2016 presidential election was important to the four plaintiffs.

Trump is accused of a total of 34 felonies for forging 11 invoices, 11 checks and 12 ledgers as daily legal fees instead of paying back the hush money.

Trump has denied any wrongdoing and said he never had sex with adult film star and director Stormy Daniels. In May he witnessed brutality and humiliation.

Monday's hearing was filled with protests and action and ended with tense testimony from Cohen's attorney, Robert Costello, the second lawyer to vow to work with the FBI after Cohen fell under FBI control in 2018. Trump attended the meeting outside. .

In the end, the lawyer asked for the file to be deleted, but that was what was needed. Mercian rejected the court's request and said he would announce its decision on Tuesday. The defense can also present its defense at that time.

The debate should end after the weekend.

In "The Journey,"

Branch begins questioning Cohen about his past affairs, his income, and how much money he has made since his relationship with the former president.

Cohen, while expressing who was looking for praise the other day, stated that he earned millions from "Unfaithful", "Revenge" and his podcast "Mea Culpa"; All of them were very critical of him.

Inspired by Branch, Cohen admitted that he was considering a third book, developing a television show called "The Fixers" and considering running for Congress, where he has "the best reputation."

When Character suggested that Cohn's address was Trump, Cohn disagreed.

"I'm not going to explain it that way. I know how to go about it," Cohen said.

"Well, the path you're taking...includes attacks on Trump every day," Branch replied.

During the company's interrogation, Cohen again confessed to his past crimes and admitted to taking money from Trump when CNBC's main investor did not pay the tech company to steal $30,000 for the organization.

Minutes later, Branch asked, "Do you have a financial interest in this case?"

"Yes," Cohen replied.

When Blanche pressed Cohn on whether he wanted a guilty verdict, Cohn replied: "The answer is no. It would have been better if he hadn't charged me because it gives me more to talk about the future."

Attorney Susan Hoffinger explained that Cohen's questioning was beautiful and a quick review, repeating Cohen's testimony to the jury that he was the man behind Trump.

“They ask you a lot of questions about how you make money and your podcast… Financial issues aside, how does telling the truth affect your life?” Hoffinger asked.

“This directly changed my entire life,” Cohen replied.

Before prosecutors closed the case, the defense objected at length to C-SPAN footage of Trump and moderator Keith Schiller taken before 8 p.m. On October 24, 2016, both sides finally agreed to recognize it.

The evidence that Trump and Schiller were together that night is particularly important to Cohen's claim that he spoke to Trump and Schiller on the phone about bribing Daniels.

China Begins Military Drills Around Taiwan As 'Punishment'

China began a two-day military operation around Taiwan on Thursday morning, sending warships and planes to patrol the island as "severe punishment" for "separatism", state media reported.

The military exercise took place three days after Lai Chengde was sworn in as the autonomous island's new president.

China recognizes Taiwan as part of its territory and calls Jimmy Lai a "dangerous separatist" who will bring "war and decline" to Taiwan. China, which broke away from Taiwan after the war in 1949, views Taiwan as a renegade state that will eventually be forced to rejoin it and refuses to rule out the use of force to complete integration.

Relations between the two countries have deteriorated significantly in recent years as China has increased pressure on the island's independence, and concerns have sometimes been raised about the possibility of being affected.

The exercise, called "United Sword 2024A" to be held on Thursday and Friday, will "focus on joint naval and air defense blockade, joint battle management, and joint focus on major targets," Xinhua News Agency reported.

"The Eastern Command of the People's Republic of China launched a joint military exercise around the island of Taiwan at 07:45 (2345 GMT) on Thursday." said the news agency, adding that the training took place in the USA. Eastern Theater Command. North, south and east of Taiwan Island.

Xinhua said the drills will also be held around Kinmen, Matsu, Wuqiu and Dongyin Island.

According to Xinhua News Agency, military spokesman Li Xi said that the exercise "includes instructions for ships and aircraft to patrol the area around Taiwan Island and conduct joint operations inside and outside the island to test the unity of the real army."

The spokesman said that this exercise is also a severe punishment for the separatist behavior of the "Taiwan independence" forces and a strict warning against interference and violence from the other side.

- 'Real war' -

The last time China announced a similar military action around Taiwan was in August last year, when then-Vice President Lai Chi was in the US on a visit to Paraguay.

The exercise also tested the People's Liberation Army's ability to "seize air and sea superiority" and fight "in war", according to state media.

Beijing called this a "serious warning" at the time.

The court in California watched a simulated island siege exercise carried out in April by Jimmy Lai's boss, Tsai Ing-wen, who met with Kevin McCarthy.

Following US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan, China also launched a large-scale military operation in 2022.

An exercise was also held in the country, then-President Tsai Ing-wen later toured the United States.

World powers want to see as much stability as possible between China and Taiwan, especially since Taiwan plays an important role in the world economy.

The Taiwan Strait is one of the world's most important maritime trade routes, and Taiwan itself is a major producer of semiconductors, especially tiny chips used in everything from smartphones to missile systems.
