Trump's campaign team called the interview "the interview of the century." Donald Trump recalled the moment he was targeted at a rally in Pennsylvania last month and recounted the events that followed, during a live chat with Elon Musk.

"Your support means a lot to me," the Republican candidate told the billionaire.

"It's really essential that you win for the good of the country," Musk said. "More than anything, people want the American dream back. That is no longer the case today, because the people who run our country are bad - they are incompetent people," said Donald Trump in an interview with Elon Musk.

"The economy is a disaster with inflation... Four years ago, people saved a lot of money. Today they use all their money and soon they will borrow just to live," he said in the interview with Musk. He also attacked Kamala Harris and said: "If she wins, this country will fail." We will build an Iron Dome. Israel has one. We will have the best Iron Dome in the world. We need and will do everything in the United States. We will have protection,” Donald Trump told Elon Musk.

The United States is preparing for possible attacks on Israel

The United States is preparing for possible attacks on Israel this week amid tensions in the Middle East

White House national security adviser John Kirby warned of possible major attacks in Israel amid tensions in the Middle East, following President Biden's talks with the leaders of the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Italy.

The United States should be prepared for possible "significant" attacks on Israel that could happen this week, the White House national security adviser said Monday, amid continued tensions in the Middle East.

This follows President Joe Biden's talks with the leaders of the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Italy, as the United States seeks to de-escalate the situation in the region.

"We share the same concerns and expectations as our Israeli counterparts regarding the potential timeline here. It could be this week. "We need to be prepared for what could be a series of significant attacks," Kirby was quoted as saying by The Times of Israel. Kirby said the call was intended to reaffirm Israel's defense and send a unified message against any escalation of violence or attacks by Iran and its proxies. In a joint statement issued on Monday, President Biden, along with the leaders of the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Italy, called on Iran to end its military threats against Israel. The White House noted that the statement underlined the serious consequences for regional security if such an attack were to occur.

"We have asked Iran to end its ongoing threats of military attack against Israel and we are discussing the serious consequences for regional security in the event of such an attack," the statement said. "All parties must assume their responsibilities. In addition, the delivery and distribution of humanitarian aid must be unimpeded. We expressed our support for the defense of Israel against Iranian aggression and against the attacks of the terrorist groups supported by Iran,” he added. this week amid tensions in the Middle East

Calcutta doctor's rape and murder:

Calcutta doctor's rape and murder: accused 'woman' was married 4 times and watched 'disturbing and violent' porn

Violence and murder of a doctor in Kolkata: Neighbors of Sanjoy Roy said that his first wife was from Behala, while his second wife was from Park Circus. The Kolkata Police on Monday said that the man arrested for raping and killing a doctor in a government hospital was addicted to pornography and that his mobile phone contained several such videos. The accused, identified as Sanjoy Roy, was fond of watching "disturbing and violent" pornography, which was "unnatural", a police official said. Sanjoy Roy, 33, who joined the police as a citizen volunteer in 2019, had been married four times and was a womanizer, the officer told PTI.

"The pornographic content on his phone was quite disturbing and violent. We wonder about his state of mind because watching such things is not natural,” the official added.

Sanjoy Roy had a history of abuse

He physically abused his wives, the official added.

Roy's neighbors said his first wife was from Behala, while his second wife was from Park Circus. He married a third time to a girl from Barrackpore. But it didn't last long. “Then he married a girl from Alipore district,” said a neighbor. The police officer told the agency that neighbors complained about the sounds of fighting coming from the defendant's house.

"His fourth wife, who worked at a petrol pump in Alipore, had also filed a complaint of domestic violence, which continued until legal separation was granted," the police officer added.

The accused's mother says her son is innocent

Sanjoy Roy is a trained boxer. He was taken to RG Kar Medical College and hospital police station where the incident took place. The man's mother, Malati Roy, said her son was framed and was innocent.

"I don't know anything, but my son is innocent. I think he was framed," he said.

She said that she studied in a school in Bhabanipur and was also part of the NCC.

Israeli intelligence suggests an imminent Iranian attack on Israel is imminent

Hezbollah's attacks are likely to be larger than previous ones, potentially including rockets and drones targeting central Israel and civilian areas. According to a recently reviewed assessment by Israeli intelligence, Iran is likely to launch a direct attack on Israel in retaliation for the assassination of the political leader of Hamas in Tehran. This attack is likely to happen in the coming days and could come before the planned negotiations on the hostage situation in Gaza and the ceasefire planned for August 15. Such an attack could jeopardize these crucial talks, which Israeli officials have described as a "now or never" opportunity.

According to a report by Axios, this new assessment marks a departure from previous intelligence reports, which suggested that Iran had not yet decided on the details or timing of its response. It was hoped that international pressure and domestic debate could persuade Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, to delay or soften the crackdown. However, Iranian officials expressed a desire that their response not derail the ceasefire negotiations, according to the report.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant informed US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin that Iranian military preparations suggest a major attack is imminent, the Axios report said. The Biden administration, for its part, is engaged in high-level diplomacy to avoid further escalation and ensure a ceasefire.

In addition, Israeli intelligence predicts that Hezbollah could launch a first attack, followed by a direct Iranian attack, the report also claims. These attacks are likely to be larger than previous ones, potentially involving rockets and drones targeting central Israel and civilian areas.

Despite these concerns, IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said there had been no change in the Home Front Command's instructions to Israeli citizens. The situation remains fluid, with ongoing internal debates in Iran that could also influence the final decision on its response, according to the report.

Washington:

American President Joe Biden, in his first televised interview since the withdrawal of the election, said that he acted under the pressure of his fellow Democrats and for a determination to see Donald Trump defeated.

Explaining his surprise departure in new detail, Biden said his fellow re-election contenders feared he would hurt their chances as his age and mental abilities dominated the campaign.

Biden, 81, was derailed by the end of his bid for a second term on July 21 after his poor debate performance against Trump sparked a Democratic backlash against him.

In the brief television interview, filmed at the White House last week and broadcast on Sunday, the president appeared fragile but persuasive, admitting again that he had failed in the debate, but insisting that in terms of health, there was no " It wasn't a serious problem."

"A number of my Democratic colleagues in the House and Senate thought I was going to hurt them in the (election) races," he explained.

"I was afraid that if I stayed in the race, this would be the topic that I would be interviewed about," he continued. He pointed the finger at former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, a party heavyweight whose refusal to explicitly support his campaign was seen by many as decisive.

"You have to interview me because Nancy Pelosi said (something) ... I think that would be a real distraction," Biden said.

"A crucial issue for me is always - this is not a joke - the preservation of this democracy.

"I have an obligation to the country to do what is the most important thing that we can do, and that is - we must, we must, we must defeat Trump."

Help Harris

Biden said he was proud of his record on jobs, investment and post-Covid recovery - and vowed to campaign hard for Vice President Kamala Harris, who replaced him on the ballot. "I will do whatever Kamala thinks I can do to help as many people as possible," he said.

Democrats' hopes of winning have been boosted by Biden's withdrawal, as Harris enjoys a surge in support that has left Trump and Republicans struggling.

The outgoing president said he expected to serve only one term when he won in 2020, but was persuaded to push for a second.

"I consider myself an interim president — I can't even say how old I am. It's hard for me to say — but things moved so quickly that it didn't happen," he told CBS's Robert Costa. As Harris holds large rallies in key states, Trump's agenda is under scrutiny, and his running mate, J.D. Vance, who filled the Sunday morning political shows.

Speaking on CNN, ABC and CBS, Vance answered questions about child custody, asylum seekers and abortion.

In a tense exchange with CBS's Margaret Brennan, Vance complained that he had asked "six questions about abortion."

"I'm still trying to get a straight answer," Brennan replied.

He also claimed that Harris was the one who "ran the show" in the Biden administration.

"If she doesn't run the show, Dana, who will?" he told CNN's Dana Bash. Biden, in his CBS interview, warned that Trump poses "a real danger to American security."

"Mark my words, if he wins ... watch what happens," he said. "It represents a real danger to American security.

"Look, we're at a turning point in world history ... and democracy is the key."
