Eighteen-year-old Axel Rudakubana was responsible for the deaths of three girls during a Taylor Swift-themed summer event last July, leaving two of the victims with "horrific injuries."

Before Rudakubana’s outburst, Heer stated that his actions were not motivated by any political or religious beliefs.

"His only intent was to kill, focusing on the youngest and most defenseless victims to maximize the fear and outrage he aimed to create, which he successfully accomplished," she affirmed.

While in custody after the event, Rudakubana was reportedly heard making chilling remarks such as, "It's a good thing those children are dead... I’m so glad... so happy."

Heer also noted that various images and documents discovered on his computer indicated a disturbing, long-term fascination with violence, murder, and genocide.

US district judge John Coughenour, who is based in Seattle and was appointed by former Republican President Ronald Reagan, issued a temporary restraining order following a request from four Democratic-led states: Washington, Arizona, Illinois, and Oregon. This ruling obstructed the implementation of an order that Trump signed on his first day back in office, marking the outset of legal challenges against his strict immigration policies that are a hallmark of his second term.

What Judge John Coughenour expressed:

“I find it difficult to comprehend how any attorney could assert categorically that this order is constitutional,” the judge commented to a representative from the US Justice Department who was defending Trump's order. “It absolutely baffles me,” he continued.

“I have presided over cases for more than forty years, and I cannot recall another situation where the issue is presented as clearly as this one. This order is blatantly unconstitutional,” Coughenour asserted regarding Trump’s directive.

At 84 years old, Coughenour, who was nominated to the federal bench in 1981, rigorously questioned the DOJ lawyer, Brett Shumate, inquiring whether Shumate genuinely believed the order conformed to the Constitution.

“According to this order, infants born today will not be recognized as US citizens,” remarked Lane Polozola, an assistant attorney general from Washington state, referencing Trump’s policy during the hearing.

India's space organization has transmitted images captured by Indian satellites of the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela, regarded as the largest religious gathering globally, taking place in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

The images from the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) reveal substantial facilities established for the event, catering to nearly 400 million visitors expected over the 45-day period.

Utilizing advanced optical satellites and radar systems capable of day-and-night imaging, the National Remote Sensing Center in Hyderabad obtained a collection of images illustrating the extensive preparations for the Maha Kumbh Mela. According to Dr. Prakash Chauhan, the Director of NRSC, they employed the radar technology since it enables imaging even through cloud coverage around Prayagraj.

Sequential images from EOS-04 (RISAT-1A) microwave satellite, taken on September 15, 2023, and December 29, 2024, showcase the detailed layout of the Tent City, including its structures, roads, and the network of pontoon bridges and associated facilities, all created for the Maha Kumbh Mela in 2025.

The Uttar Pradesh administration is also leveraging these images to prevent disasters and manage crowd control during the Mela. The time series photos illustrate the Prayagraj Parade Ground, starting from before the Maha Kumbh's commencement on April 6, 2024, to significant infrastructure developments seen on December 22, 2024, culminating with the large crowd gathering captured on January 10, 2025.

Union Minister of State for Science and Technology, Jitendra Singh, emphasized that these advanced technologies mark a significant transformation in handling large-scale religious events. He noted that the Maha Kumbh Mela exemplifies how technology can merge with tradition to foster a cleaner and healthier future for all. Approximately 26 hectares of land have been reclaimed, and around 12 kilometers of new bathing ghats have been constructed for the Maha Kumbh Mela.
