USING THE POWER OF WORDS ON YOURSELF

Words we use everyday have a powerful message. 

The way we hear our own words can bring us success 
or failure. What we say about ourselves will come into your 
lives. 

When we invite good things by well-chosen words, they
will attract good things into our life. Success is waiting for you to
invite it in to your life.

You are what you eat well, and we are what we say about
ourselves. Words are powerful so use them to bless
yourselves and others. What words do you use to describe
your life? I urge you to only say the positive about
yourself and your life. You would never go up to someone
else and say negative words to them. You don't make a habit
of criticize a person's character or their business. 

So don't do it to yourself.

As children we're taught to listen to our elders and people
who are in a position of authority. We let their words form
what we feel about ourselves. We repeat the things that
people say about us as a reality instead of believing that
we can do all things we put our mind to.

You will never know your full potential when you let someone
else word define you. The time has come to take words and
use them to invite you. Allow the good things you want by
saying, I am before everything you want in your life. 

Have the health, energy, beauty, weight and success you want.
Never say I am not good enough. Take what you have, you are
enough, there is no one like you in this world and never
will be. You are an original and that makes you special,
amazing, wonderful and I am a one of a kind.

Thinking you are not or discrediting yourself will only
bring more of the same. God made each of us with the ability
to do great things and even if someone else can do the
things we do they will never do it the same way. The words I
am are two powerful words they form what we believe about
ourselves.

You want to change your mind-set? 

Start by listening to your own words. Instead of telling yourself 
that you are less than qualified, by saying things about 
yourself the negative things that somebody has said about 
you when you were younger.

 Each one of use is born with a purpose and the
power to do great things. 

Feel the power of the words you hold over your life. 

What do you tell yourself when you're alone with your thoughts? 
The words you are using are setting your mind-set. Have you 
believed the words someone has used to describe you or 
told you as you were?

You can choose what words develop your mind-set and invite
the things you want in life. Attitude is the difference and
will because you are an original. When you are with the
people who see your greatness it is because you show them
the words you tell yourself. The best part of forming your
own opinion based on the special things you tell yourself is
that your talents noticed by others and they will accept you
in a positive light.

Our spirit is inviting the future that we want. Feeding your
spirit is the same as feeding your body the difference is
instead of food our spirit eats words.

Make sure the words you tell yourself is the words you want
people to describe you.

LET YOUR THOUGHT MAKE YOU RICH

If you know much about me, you know I talk a lot about how the mind works. It’s basically a three-step process:
  1. Create a clear image of what you want in your conscious mind.
  2. Impress the image on your subconscious (or emotional) mind (repeatedly) to change your vibration.
  3. Create or attract, on the physical plane, a replica of the picture you have in your mind.
Today I’m going to delve deeper into this creative process, and share, in more detail, how you can use these steps to significantly change your life.
In this post, I’ll focus on attracting riches, but you can use this process to improve any area of your life.

Step 1: Create a clear image of what you want

The first step toward improving your life is desire.
Right now your bank account might have only a few hundred dollars, you might live in a small house and you might need new clothes. But if you want financial security, your thoughts should be of someone who is wealthy!
Your desire for money shouldn’t be a hope. It shouldn’t a wish. It must be a keen desire that transcends everything else.
Napoleon Hill said, “There’s a difference between wishing for a thing and being ready to receive it. No one is ready for a thing until he believes he can acquire it. The state of mind must be belief, not mere hope or wish.”
The way to get started is to write out a description of your desired self, the person you want to be, in the present tense. Don’t say, “I am going to be become rich” say “I am happy that I am rich…” and then go on to describe everything that you want to be, do and have. Don’t include any negatives, everything must be positive.
By writing it out, you are literally building new brain cells that hold an image of the new you. And every time you rewrite it, as I’ll talk about in a minute, you give more and more energy to those new cells until, in a relatively short period of time, the image becomes fixed in your mind.

Step 2: Impress the image on your subconscious mind

First, I want you to understand that your subconscious mind isn’t really yours. It actually extends well beyond you.
You see, you’re working with a universal power that’s not just in you. It’s everywhere, and it is in everyone. In other words, every one of us is an expression of the same power. So you’re really impressing your ideas (your new image) on a universal power that responds exactly the same way to you as it does to me.
When you really grasp that your subconscious mind “belongs” to and responds to all of us in exactly the same way, you’ll begin to understand why your potential is truly unlimited.
The key is to learn how to use this universal power to get what you want instead of what you don’t want. Because whether you harbour positive thoughts or negative ones, you always get EXACTLY what you ask for.
So right now, ask yourself what kind of an image you’ve been holding. Have you been wishing for a lot more money but thinking about your debt?
Most people get emotionally involved with their current situation, and then they think it’s an accident that the same results keep reoccurring.
If you have a cash flow problem, don’t concentrate on what’s currently in your bank account. Your doubt will obstruct the unfolding of prosperity in your life.
Instead, concentrate on your ideal image of living in your dream house, driving a brand new car, earning millions of dollars… whatever being wealthy looks like to you.
You see, an ideal is an idea that you fall in love with. Love is resonance; it’s harmony. It’s your thoughts, feelings and actions all operating on the same frequency. So you must fall in love with your new image!
When you get the higher side of your personality (the spiritual side) aligned with the lower side of your personality (the subconscious or emotional mind), you’re going to see miraculous changes take place on the physical side of your personality.
But until you get these two in tune, you’re going to have problems. Because when they’re not harmony, there’s conflict. And if there’s conflict in the mind, I guarantee it will express itself in the results you get. In this case, it will block the money you desire from coming in.

Step 3: Create or attract, on the physical plane, a replica of the picture you have in your mind

Now that you have your ideal image written out on a card, put yourself in a very relaxed state, an altered state of consciousness. It is very important that you do this.
Once you’re in that state, start to visualize the new image and become emotionally involved in it. This is how your fantasy becomes real in your subconscious mind.
When you come back to a normal conscious state, rewrite your image—it is critical that you do this. Each time you rewrite it, it will become clearer and clearer. Now you might alter it a bit, but each time you go through this process, your new brain cells become stronger and stronger.
Do this every day. Every time you do, you’re moving that picture more and more from a fantasy to a theory because the image becomes fixed in your mind.
Then, in relatively short order, you’ll become motivated and you’ll start to expect the good that you desire. And when that happens, the universal power within you will actually take that image and begin to express it through you, and your theory will literally become a fact. It will create a physical replica of the image you’ve been holding in your mind.

This creative process works all the time

At first, you may not believe what you write out. You might think, this is really silly and I’m not going to waste my time doing it.
TRY IT ANYWAY.
When I wrote that I would earn Rs 200,000 per month on my card back in 2006, I didn’t believe it would happen. But my wife did, so I read my card over and over until I did believe and then attracted it myself.
So do what I’ve asked you to do, and I guarantee that, relatively soon, you won’t think it’s silly any more. In fact, you’ll be very, very glad that you did.

CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY

You don't get to choose how you are going to die. Or when.

Isn't this a wonderful reminder that we can choose how we
are going to live? Our life is in our hands. We decide how
we want it to be. Aren't we glad? Never give up the power
and your right to choose.

Do we want a life of happiness or depression? It was said
that man's chief aim is to be happy. How true. We all want
to be happy and joyful. A happy life is a life well-lived. A
life of depression and negativity causes the life of the
person to rot, to waste away.

We need to take proactive actions to make our life happy and
satisfying. How are we going to do that? First, we need to
change our thinking, to believe that we can be happy and
successful in life.

"The thought is the predecessor of the deed". Emerson

Norman Vincent Peale wrote, "Change your thought and you
change your world".

Decide first to change your thinking. Your thinking is the
driving force that determines the actions you will take and
they will determine your future, your destiny. So choose to
live a life of abundance. Don't let negative thoughts defeat
you.

Equation:

PT = PA = PR (Positive thinking will result in positive
action and will produce positive result and positive life).

NT = NA = NR (Negative thinking will result in negative
action, negative result and negative life).

Positive thinking is very powerful and it will change your
life dramatically. It is an indisputable law that positive
thinking will result in a positive life and person. "As a
man thinketh, so shall he be" so says the Bible.

Conversely, negative thinking is also very powerful. It has
the immense power to destroy you and your family.

Guard yourself with all your might and strength against
negative thinking, however small it is, because it has the
power to multiply itself and grow exponentially very
quickly, a lot quicker than you think. It is like cancer, it
spreads without you knowing and eventually, it takes life
away from you.

Therefore, resolve today to cure yourself of cancer and do
not allow negativity and depression to take the joy of
living away from you.

Second, we need to change our doing. Our action, what we do
daily, will affect our life and destiny. Act positively and
speak positively, no matter what your circumstances are.
Don't complain too much, don't be a loner, don't hide
yourself alone at home. Take positive action like making new
friends, taking up a hobby and going for a holiday. Or make
someone happy, encourage your friends. The bible says that
as you refresh others, you yourself will be refreshed.

Positive thinking and Positive doing will result in Positive
living. You will become a positive and happy human being.

Choose to live your life and choose to be happy.

WANDERING BRAIN FINDS HAPPINESS

Those trusty researchers at Harvard University -- and
elsewhere -- have been busily exploring what makes us happy.
It is called the neurobiology of happiness and speaks to
what lights up our brains. The researchers are also
examining the plasticity of our brains - how we can
re-pattern our neurotransmitters for happier outcomes.
Positive psychologists, Daniel T. Gilbert and Matthew A.
Killings-worth, both from Harvard, have concluded that "a
wandering mind is not a happy mind." Yes, psychological
research does demonstrate that flair for the obvious, but,
that said, we now have scientific proof and baseline
platform for today's discussion.

We humans have minds that are in over-drive. Our minds are
forever projecting forward to explore a possibility or
vaulting backwards to review a past event. We seldom stay in
the present moment which all good mystics and mindfulness
teachers will tell you is the place to hang out. This - the
present moment - is where we get the most bang for our buck,
life-wise.

Still, it is difficult for us to shut our monkey brains
down. We hop from thought to thought with nary a breath in
between. As most of us know, meditation has been proven an
effective antidote for the non-stop mind and stressed-out
life. It works.

For some, meditation is not their thing. Good news, however,
awaits. Those wizards at Harvard have also found that quiet
time increases happiness. Yes, quiet time.

I am told that when night falls, a boat switches
energetically into what is called "low lights." In other
words, everything is shut down to preserve power. I love
that phrase. Perhaps you might see yourself as a boat with
low lights skimming inky waters under a starry sky.
Everything is safe and secure, you are allowing yourself
some time to refresh and recharge.

Enjoying Quiet time

Have you ever considered creating a daily window for quiet
time? Perhaps taking thirty minutes of unadulterated
unscheduled time to sit quietly? Nothing fancy, simply 30
precious minutes with the telephone unplugged, the computer
turned off and no one permitted to disturb you.

This is time for you to unburden yourself. There is nothing
to carry -- no bags, books, briefcases, messages, worries,
responsibilities or chores. Everything is left outside the
30-minute circle but you.

In fact, you might envision drawing an imaginary circle
around this dedicated space. It will provide you with
boundaries -- an energetic safety zone in which to release
your cares and worries. By creating a temporary sanctuary in
which you can refresh, recharge and replenish yourself, you
are free to be alone with your thoughts, stare into space,
take a bath, meditate or simply rest your eyes.

Being quiet is a healing endeavour; it soothes jangled
nerves, pre empts the bombardment of sensory stimulation and
allows the body to become still. It calms the energy field
and provides restorative tranquillity to the mind-body. Being
quiet is an avenue for both balance and peace.

Being quiet also connects you with yourself. It gives you
the opportunity to tune in to yourself and listen to what is
bubbling beneath the surface; it gives you the space to sort
out jumbled emotions or gnarled thoughts. It becomes a place
where you can process and digest the knotted and the
tangled. Being quiet allows you to clear out the internal
clutter and to approach the remainder of the day anew and
with a refreshed attitude. By regularly taking a mere 30
minutes per day for quiet time, you can create an oasis
amidst the hurriedness of your days.

Consider giving yourself permission to take a full 30
minutes of quiet. Sanctuary time calls you.

TODAY'S MESSAGE-HEALTH

We have all been there, some of us more often than others, finding the willpower to lift yourself off the couch and get in the exercise for the day. This can be especially true for those who identify as “fit” or healthy, putting off exercise can form into a bad habit. This guide will be for both first-time workout motivation and those who need help staying the course.
 
1. Summer Swimsuits – Probably the most used motivator to get moving is to fit into that swimsuit you bought for the summer. There’s no shame in this game, having a tangible way to measure progress is a solid motivator.
 
2. Answer Your Haters – If you have some people who get under your skin about how you can’t do it or you won’t be able to reach your goals without quitting, just use it as fuel for your fire. This shouldn't be the only reason for exercising, but it can add an extra little pep in your step.
 
3. Use Apps – Thanks to smartphones having built-in GPS and easy add-ons to measure heart rate, calories burned, and timed events, you can get really technical with your workouts nowadays. Are you a gamer? Well, there are plenty of fun apps now that combine games with your exercise and compete with others. One popular example is the zombie jogging app, putting in virtual obstacles and goals.
 
4. Turn Back the Clock – After you hit 40, it’s all downhill from there, right? Well, not if you exercise regularly. Many people feel younger than ever when they are in-shape, often younger than when they were in their 20’s.
 
5. More Energy – If you are someone who finds themselves dependent on energy drinks to get them through the day, you can save some cash and the potential health risks associated with chugging down caffeine all day. The 5 hour brand is safer, but nothing beats good exercise.
 
6. Exercise Confidence – There is no denying that after a good workout you feel better and can even trick your mind into thinking you already look better. Getting a workout in before going out is a nice confidence booster before a date.

7. Gym Networking – Even if you’re not a gym rat yourself, you can definitely get a sense of how good the community is at your gym. A good way to socialize casually without needing to spend a lot of money.

8. Get Past the Hump – The fastest way to get over a break-up or any personal drama in your life is to work that energy out. Sweating is a form of detoxification, so utilize it regularly.

9. Reward Yourself – It might sound odd, but hitting the gym by yourself is by definition a form of rewarding you and your body. The pain is temporary, the gains last much longer as a reminder of your hard work.

10. Make Them Proud – We all have a role model, a family member, or a close friend that we look up to. Showing off your progress and seeing their expressions is a priceless moment.

Mental Exercises That Can Help You Achieve Anything


The definition of success varies wildly depending on who you
ask. My definition and yours might be completely different,
or they may differ because we are simply working on
different things in our lives. You may be working on
quitting smoking, someone else may be trying to lose weight,
I may be preparing for an upcoming speech I'll have to give.

One thing is for sure though, if you want to be 'successful'
you need to get in the right mind-set.

So how do you get yourself mentally prepared to take on a
new challenge?

No matter what you're trying to accomplish, there are 4 easy
exercises that anyone can do to get themselves mentally
prepared for success.

Meditation

Meditation is the practice in which you train your mind to
induce a mode of higher consciousness. In order to do this,
find a quiet place to either sit or lay down, and simply
close your eyes and begin taking deep breaths in and out.
Doing this can help you reduce stress, become aware of
yourself and your environment, help you to ignore
distractions, improve your focus, and even help your
physical well-being.

Re framing

Re framing consists of changing the way we see things and
trying to find alternative ways of viewing ideas, events,
and situations. Re framing is a way of taking negative
thoughts or emotions, and spinning them in a positive way.
Instead of worrying over a past failure, use it as an
opportunity to see where you can improve and grow. Practice
seeing opportunity in failure or shortcomings, and pretty
soon you'll be more optimistic all around.

"If life gives you lemons, make lemonade!"

Visualization

Visualization is a very popular one amongst athletes,
business people, and entertainers. When you have an event
coming up (Public speaking engagement, job interview,
basketball game) visualize yourself in the process of that
event. Don't focus on the outcome or how you think it will
end up, but simply the process of what you'll be doing and
the different scenarios that could pop up during. If you do
this for everything, you'll feel more prepared to handle
situations when they arise.

Self-Talk

Self talk is the process of repeating positive affirmations
and thoughts to yourself. Things that will help you to
complete your task at hand. There are a couple different
types of self talk that you can use to help yourself achieve
any goal - motivational and instructional.

Motivational self talk could be anything from, "you got
this", "you are good enough", and "you WILL achieve your
goal".

Instructional on the other hand isn't just to pump you up
and make you feel capable and confident. An example of
instructional self talk would be a golfer trying to work on
his swing repeating to himself "bend your knees and keep
your eye on the ball".

If you practice these 4 mental exercises for a while, they
will eventually become second nature. If you can get your
mind set right, you will feel more confident and capable and
will be able to achieve anything you set out to do.
