Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Live: Voting begins today for 15 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh. In Karnataka, the Congress moved all MLAs to a hotel ahead of the biennial elections to fill four seats. There are five candidates in the fray, including Ajay Maken, Syed Naseer Hussain and GC Chandrasekhar of the Congress, Narayansa Bandage of the BJP and Kupendra Reddy of the JD(S). Concerns about cross-polling were raised when both parties whipped their MLAs.

Meanwhile, in Himachal Pradesh, the Congress party has issued a whip to urge all its MLAs to vote for the party's candidate Abhishek Manu Singhvi. The move was criticized by the Bharatiya Janata Party, which claimed that MPs have the right to vote as they wish.

Of the 56 Bundestag seats to be won today, 41 have secured their seats in the Family.
