Ahead of the much-awaited Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a 10-day visit to 12 states and Union Territories (UTs) across the country and attend 29 engagements, starting Monday, March 4.

According to the schedule announced by the administration, Modi will visit Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir and Afghanistan in the next 10 days. Samsara, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Delhi. to win the votes of the people in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

Prime Minister Modi took action, shifting his focus to the government's development and health agenda ahead of the election and announcing a country-wide development plan worth millions of rupees. It is expected to be from April to May this year.

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday announced the first batch of 195 candidates for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Party president Vinod Todd announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will contest from Varanasi. The initial list included 34 federal and state leaders, including two former leaders, Todd said.

Besides Modi, the BJP's first list includes Kiren Rijiju from Western Arunachal Pradesh, Sarbanand from Dibrugarh Sarbananda Sonowal, Manoj Tiwari from Northeast Delhi, Bansuri Swaraj from New Delhi, Ami Amit Shah from Gandhinagar and Mansukh. Mansukh is included. Godda is Nishikant Dubey's Patil Nirahua. Bandi Sanjay Kumar of Section Kota, Karimnagar, G Kishen Reddy of Secunderabad.

Biplab Deb gets Tripura West, Ajay Mishra Teni Lakhimpur Kheri, Hema Malini Mathura, Smriti Irani Amethi, Sakshi Maharaj Unnao, Rajnath Singh Lucknow, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti Fatehpur, Ravi Kishan Gorakhpur, Nirahua Azamgarh, Locket Chatterjee Hooghly.
