Nowhere In Iran Ayatullah can hide: Netanyahu Issues Big Warning To "Ayatollah's Regime"

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed that he personally approved the operation to remove Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut. The 64-year-old Nasrallah was killed during Israeli strikes on numerous Hezbollah locations in eastern and southern Lebanon, in response to heavy rocket attacks by the group on northern Israel.

Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in southern Beirut during the night, resulting in the destruction of several residential buildings. Prime Minister Netanyahu described the death of Nasrallah as a significant advancement in Israel's military tactics and a move towards enhancing security along the northern borders. In a statement to the nation after Nasrallah's demise, Netanyahu stated that Nasrallah had directed multiple assaults on Israeli citizens and foreigners, including notable bombings during the 1980s.

The 1983 bombings in Beirut, which resulted in the deaths of 63 individuals at the US embassy along with numerous US Marines and French paratroopers, were among the attacks that occurred. Netanyahu emphasized the significance of Nasrallah's demise in crippling Hezbollah's capabilities, underscoring that while Nasrallah was alive, he could swiftly restore the weakened capabilities of the organization. "We have avenged the individual accountable for the deaths of numerous Israelis and citizens from various nations, including hundreds of Americans and dozens of French," stated the Israeli Prime Minister.

He highlighted Nasrallah's elimination as a pivotal moment that would hasten the repatriation of northern Israeli inhabitants affected by cross-border attacks and further debilitate Hamas, an ally of Hezbollah in Gaza. "The increased realization by Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar that Hezbollah is no longer offering assistance enhances the likelihood of our hostages being returned," remarked Netanyahu. He commended Israel's military and intelligence entities, namely the IDF, Mossad, and Shin Bet, for successfully carrying out the operation aimed at securing the release of Israelis captured by Hamas on October 7. "We are emerging victorious," he asserted.

The Gaza war is taking on broader implications: Jaishankar's caution against fatalism at UNGA

The Gaza war is taking on broader implications: Jaishankar's caution against fatalism at UNGA

S Jaishankar highlighted the need for urgent resolutions to the conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar advised the international community at the General Debate of the 79th UN General Assembly to not be fatalistic about the ongoing violence in Ukraine and Gaza. S Jaishankar emphasized the expanding implications of the Gaza conflict and called for immediate resolution from the international community. Israel's military campaign in Gaza was initiated in response to an attack by Hamas on October 7th. Nonetheless, the prior constrained conflict has spread to Lebanon due to Israel's assault on Hezbollah's positions, posing a potential multi-polar conflict in the Middle East. "We are assembled here during a challenging period." The global community is still grappling with the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic. The conflict in Ukraine has entered its third year. "The conflict in Gaza is escalating," stated S Jaishankar on Saturday.

Hezbollah confirmed on Saturday that, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, its leader, had been killed in an Israeli airstrike.

S Jaishankar emphasized that the UN consistently emphasizes the correlation between peace and development. "However, when obstacles have arisen for one, proper consideration has not been granted to the other." "The economic impacts on the disadvantaged and vulnerable populations must be emphasized," stated S Jaishankar.

Couple kicked off flight, lands in court for sex act on packed plane, co-passengers outraged

A British couple was removed from an EasyJet flight for engaging in inappropriate behavior in public, causing outrage among their fellow passengers. The couple faced a court hearing following the incident that occurred back in March. Bradley Smith and Antonia Sullivan were apprehended in the act of engaging in a sexual activity in a public setting, resulting in their removal from the flight.

The incident occurred on an EasyJet flight from Tenerife, Spain to Bristol on March 3, where multiple witnesses reported their misconduct to the crew. Bradley Smith occupied seat 16A during the 7 am flight, with his girlfriend Antonia Sullivan seated beside him in 16B. Witnesses reported that Bradley requested a sexual act from Antonia shortly after the flight departed from Spain. The couple proceeded to cover Bradley's lap with clothing and engaged in explicit behavior on the crowded flight.

"The witness beside them observed the activity, as well as a mother and her teenage daughter seated behind the couple," the prosecutor stated.

After the angry mother alerted the cabin crew about the incident, Antonia initially claimed she was simply rubbing her boyfriend's leg. The couple was subsequently removed from the aircraft by law enforcement officers for interrogation.

The Verdict:

Both Bradley, aged 22, and Antonia, aged 20, admitted to engaging in a lewd act in a public location and were convicted of outraging public decency in court earlier in the week.

At least 43 individuals have perished in the southeastern United States due to the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene. Tropical Depression Helene resulted in catastrophic flooding on Friday across various regions of the U.S.

In the Southeast region, a storm has resulted in the deaths of at least 43 individuals, flooding neighborhoods, causing mudslides, posing a threat to dams, and causing power outages for over 3.5 million residences and businesses.

The storm named Helene made landfall in Florida's Big Bend area as a Category 4 hurricane with wind speeds reaching 140 mph (225 kph) before moving north towards Georgia, Tennessee, and the Carolinas. A disorderly scene was left in the aftermath of the storm, with boats overturned in harbors, trees toppled, cars submerged, and streets flooded. By early Friday afternoon, the storm was reclassified as a tropical depression with sustained winds of 35 mph (55 kph), according to the National Hurricane Center. Despite the downgrade, Helene's heavy rainfall continued to cause severe flooding, prompting numerous water rescues by law enforcement and firefighters in the affected regions.

In Unicoi County, Tennessee, over 50 individuals were saved from a hospital rooftop as floodwaters engulfed the town. Emergency vehicles were impeded by rising waters from the Nolichucky River, hindering evacuation efforts, as relayed by the Unicoi County Emergency Management Agency on social media. Emergency response teams were using boats and helicopters to conduct rescue operations.
