अरुणाचल प्रदेश में कांग्रेस सरकार की बहाली के निर्णय में माननीय उच्चतम न्यायालय ने कहा कि
" राज्यपाल का आचरण न सिर्फ निष्पक्ष होना चाहिए बल्कि निष्पक्ष दिखना भी चाहिए "
साथ ही यह भी कहा -

" राज्यपालों को राजनीतिक दलों की लड़ाई से खुद को दूर रखना चाहिए"

किंतू जिस प्रकार का आचरण निर्णय और व्यवहार न्यायपालिका कर रही है उससे ऊपर दिए गए कोड्स में राज्यपाल की जगह न्यायपालिका शब्द रख दिया जाए तो आम जनता को ज्यादा ठीक लगेगा।

कोर्ट परिसरों में रोज होती लूट, बिकते न्याय और 3 करोड़ लंबित मामलो के बीच जनता को भारत की न्याय व्यवस्था का चरित्र पता है। जिसका भी पडोसी न्यायाधीश, वकील या कोर्ट का कर्मचारी है उसे इस बाजार आधरित न्याय तंत्र का नंगा सच पता है। किंतू माननीय न्यायाधीश न तो अपने गिरेबां में झांकते हें और न ही अपने आँगन की सफाई करते हें। जनता को पता है कि कोलॉजियम, उत्तर प्रदेश के लोकायुक्त मामले और फिर उत्तराखंड में राष्ट्रपति शासन के बीच कैसे न्यायपालिका ने बिना किसी संवेधानिक प्रावधान के गैरकानूनी तरीक़ों से निर्णय दिए। कैसे और किन दबाबो में याकूब मेनन की फांसी की सजा रोकने के लिए रातों में कोर्ट खुलते हें, कभी जयललिता, कभी माया, कभी मुलायम, कभी सोनिया और राहुल तो कभी सलमान, संजय दत्त, अंसल बंधुओ, सहारा श्री आदि के लिए इंसाफ के पलड़े झुक जाते हें, यह सब जनता को पता है। जब वकील शांतिभूषण दर्जन भर पूर्व न्यायाधीशो के करोडो अरबो के भ्रष्टाचार के खेल हलफनामा देकर उच्चतम न्यायालय में खोलते हें, तब भी माननीय मिलार्डो की चुप्पी बहुत कुछ कह जाती है। फिलहाल जिन न्यायाधीशो की नियुक्ति उच्च और उच्चतम न्यायालयो में किये जाने की प्रक्रिया चल रही है उसमे कैसे कैसे गंदे खेल और सौदेबाजी की जा रही है इसकी खबरे भी जनता तक छन छन कर आ रही हें। क्या इन सब नियुक्तियों में निष्पक्षता और पारदर्शी तरीके से चयन के लिए निर्धारित मापदंडों को पूरा किया जा रहा है? क्यों न्यायायिक नियुक्ति विधेयक को संबिधान के विरुद्ध कहा गया और संबिधान में वर्णित न्यायिक सेवाओं की बहाली नहीं की जा रही है? सच तो यह है कि देश के लिए यह गहन अंधकार का युग है जब उसे न्याय मिलने की संभावनाएं न्यूनतम हें। न्याय अब उद्योग बन चूका है और न्यायपालिका उद्योगपति। सबसे दुःखद यह कि यह ब्रिटिश न्यायपालिका का विकृत रूप बन चुकी है। न तो इसका भारतीयकरण किया गया और न ही भारत तत्व का समावेश। अंग्रेजी भाषा, विद्रूप शैली और नोटंकी जैसी पोशाकों के बीच खुद का मजाक उड़वाती जोकरों की टोली।

सन् 2014 में मोदी सरकार बनने के साथ ही सरकार में वित्त और रक्षा मंत्री बने अरुण जेटली स्वयं को मोदी से ऊपर ही समझते थे। उनका शानदार और लदकद कार्यालय जो मोदी के कार्यालय से ज्यादा बड़ा था और अक्खड़ कार्यशैली से यह दिखता रहा। चुनाव पूर्व के बर्षों में भाजपा की अंदरुनी गुटबाजी और कोंग्रेस सरकार की घेराबंदी के बीच जेटली मोदी के करीब होते गए। स्मृति ईरानी को मोदी केम्प से जोड़ने वाले जेटली ही थे।हर बात अहम का मुद्दा बनाने वाले जेटली ने लोकसभा चुनावों में भी खासी मनमानी की और उसके बाद भी। वे घोटालों में फंसी कारपोरेट लॉबी के प्रिय होते गए और उनके एजेंट से दिखने लगे। ऊपर से रिजर्व बैंक के गवर्नर रघुराम राजन के विरोधी दिखने वाले जेटली अंदर से उनके साथ थे और दोनों ने बेंको के 14 लाख करोड़ रूपये लूटने वालों और कालाधन देश से बाहर ले जाने वाले कोंग्रेसी सरकार के समय के सिंडीकेट की मदद ही की। अंदर से जेटली मानते हें कि लोकसभा चुनावों में उनकी और स्मृति की हार के पीछे मोदी केम्प है। उनके अंदर प्रधानमंत्री बनने की भी भूख बनी हुई है। जब मोदी उनके कंधे पर बंदूक रख राजनाथ, सुषमा, गडकरी, शिवराज, वसुंधरा और रमन सिंह की साध रहे थे तो जेटली अरविंद केजरीवाल को बढ़ावा देकर मोदी को परेशान कर रहे थे। अपने प्रभाव के दिल्ली और पंजाब में जेटली ने भाजपा की बुरी गत कर दी है और आआपा को बढ़ाबा दिया। विदेशी दौरों में व्यस्त मोदी नीतिगत मामलो में उनपर निर्भर थे और वो इसका फायदा उठाकर मोदी को कमजोर करने में। Iघर में षड्यंत्र करने वाली एकता कपूर के सीरियलों वाली ताई की तरह वो मीडिया में सरकार के विरुद्ध नकारात्मक खबरें चलवाने वाले जेटली सबसे खुला पंगा लेने और अपमानित करने के शौकीन हें। कभी कोंग्रेस तो कभी नीतीश तो कभी केजरीवाल को सरकार और मोदी विरोधी स्कूप देने के भी उन पर आरोप हें तो स्मृति- मोदी की खबरें उड़ाने और मोदी की डिग्री को विवादास्पद बनाने के पीछे भी उनका हाथ होने के अंदरखाने आरोप लगे हें। मंत्रालयों को फंड आबंटन में देरी, योजनाओ के किर्यान्वयन को लटकाने, निजी मीडिया चेनलों पर जानबूझकर नियंत्रण न रखने,न्यायपालिक से उलझने, ज्वैलर्स, सेनिको, और किसानो को भड़काने और अब पे कमीशन की रिपोर्ट लागू होने के साथ ही केंद्रीय कर्मचारियों की हड़ताल की घोषणा को मोदी केम्प जेटली केम्प की दबाब की राजनीति मानता है। जेटली ने चूँकि वित्त मंत्री रहते अमेरिकी हितो की रक्षा और प्रोत्साहन का कार्य किया है इसलिए ओबामा सरकार उन्हें वित्त मंत्री बनाए रखने पर जोर दे रही है। इसलिए अमेरिकी चुनावों तक उनका वित्त मंत्री बने रहना तय माना जा रहा था। किंतू जिस तरह उनसे सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्रालय लिया गया है और वित्त मंत्रालय में मोदी और संघ के खास दो - दो वित्त राज्य मंत्री बेठा दिए गए हें , साथ ही उनके केम्प के मंत्रियो को फेटा गया या कद घटाया गया है उससे लगता है कि उनपर परोक्ष रूप से इस्तीफा देने का दबाब बनाया जा रहा है। अब चूँकि लुटियन जोन की संस्कृति से मोदी अच्छे से परिचित हो चुके हें और सारी बिजनेस लॉबी अमित शाह के इर्द गिर्द तार बुन रही हें ऐसे में संघ और जनता की नज़र में खलनायक ,भाजपा के अमर सिंह बन चुके बीमार जेटली चाह कर भी शायद ही लंबी पारी खेल पाएं। बाकि राजनीति की निराली माया कुछ चमत्कार कर दे तो पता भी नहीं।

मोदी का स्वामी ब्रह्मास्त्र काम कर गया। डायलॉग इंडिया की यह खबर कि मोदी मंत्रिमण्डल विस्तार में जेटली कैम्प का सफाया कर सकते हें और सुब्रमणियम स्वामी के कंधे पर बन्दूक रख मोदी जेटली केम्प के लोगों पर निशाना साध रहे हें, ने जेटली कैम्प में हड़कंप मचा दिया। संकट में कुर्सी जान जेटली एक दिन पहले ही चीन का दौरा पूरा कर भारत वापस लौटे और मोदी के आगे समर्पण कर दिया। भारत में इंग्लैंड और अमेरिका के भोंपू टाइम्स ऑफ़ इंडिया ग्रुप के न्यूज़ चैंनल पर आनन् फानन में जेटली ने मोदी का इंटरव्यू आयोजित कराया और वो चैनल जो मोदी पर हावी रहता था और जेटली के ईशारों पर काम करता था आज मोदी के आगे दुम हिलाता नज़र आया। जेटली अपने पश्चमी आकाओ को यह संदेश देना चाहते थे के उनकी मोदी सरकार पर पकड़ बरकरार है और मोदी के लिए यह अवसर था जब नाटो देशों को संकेत दे सके के अब देश के वित्त मंत्रालय पर उनका नियंत्रण स्थापित हो गया है और वे जेटली को अपने कब्जे में कर चुके हें और यह उन्होंने बखूबी दे दिया। जेटली की फिलहाल की कवायद शायद उनका मंत्री पद तो बचा दे किंतू अब उनका न तो पहले जैसा रुतबा बचेगा और न ही अधिकार। मोदी अगले तीन चार महीनों में वित्त और सुचना प्रसारण मंत्रालयों पर अपना कब्ज़ा जमा और जी एस टी पास करा जेटली और उनके प्यादों को चलता कर सकते हें। जिसकी शुरुआत आगामी मंत्रिमंडल फेरबदल से हो सकती है। जहाँ तक स्वामी का प्रश्न है, भले ही मोदी ने औपचारिक इंटरव्यू में उन्हें उलाहने दिए हो किंतू अंदरखाने अभी भी वो मोदी की पहली पसंद हें और उनकी बिना मंत्री पद के भी प्रभावी भूमिका बनी रहेगी।

रघुराम राजन के बाद सरकार के आर्थिक सलाहकार अरविंद सुब्रमणियम पर जिस प्रकार सुब्रमणियन स्वामी ने वार किया है वह आकस्मिक या व्यक्तिगत नहीं है। मोदी 26 जून को मंत्रिमंडल विस्तार करने जा रहे हें। सरकार बनाने के बाद पहली बार। अपने प्रधानमंत्री बनने के समय मोदी किसी हद तक अरुण जेटली पर निर्भर थे और जेटली कहीं न कहीं मुक्त बाजार समर्थक लॉबी का हिस्सा जिसका मतलब फॉर्च्यून फाइव हंड्रेड कम्पनियों के दर्शन से सहमति और उनके हितो को ध्यान में रखते हुए नीतियों के निर्माण के समर्थक। जेटली पश्चमी देशो के मॉडल के अनुरूप मोदी को ऐसे लोकप्रिय जननेता के रूप में ढालना चाहते हें जो अंदर से फार्च्यून फाइव हंड्रेड कंपनियो के सीइओ के रूप में काम करता रहे और बाहर से जनप्रिय बना रहे। वो मानते हें कि पिछली यूपीए सरकार की नीतियां ठीक थी पर नीयत ख़राब थी और मोदी सरकार को मात्र नीयत ठीक रखने की जरुरत है नीतियां नहीं। जेटली गुट मोदी के सरकार बनाने से लेकर आज तक सरकार पर हावी रहा है। जेटली अपना वर्चस्व बनाये रखने हेतू और अपनी लॉबी के हितो की रक्षा हेतू मोदी सरकार पर दबाब बनाये रखे हें। माना जाता है कि बिहार में नितीश की सरकार बनाने और दिल्ली में केजरीवाल की सरकार बनाने में जेटली केम्प की परोक्ष रूप से बड़ी भूमिका है वही पंजाब में आम आदमी पार्टी की बढत के पीछे भी जेटली कैम्प ही है। दबाब की राजनीति के तहत जेटली ने सूचना प्रसारण मंत्रालय पर पकड़ ढीली की हुई है और वित्त मंत्रालय की निर्णय प्रक्रिया को भी उलझा रखा है। वित्त, दूर संचार व अन्य मंत्रालयों में उनकी लॉबी के मंत्री-अफसरों का कब्ज़ा है और वे योजनाओ की मंजूरी और किर्यान्वयन, फंड के आबंटन आदि में जानबूझकर देरी करते रहे हें। इसी कारण अर्थव्यवस्था पटरी पर नहीं आ पा रही और न ही महंगाई नियंत्रण में। जेटली अब अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय लॉबी के इशारे पर रघुराम राजन के स्थान पर अरविन्द सुब्रमण्यम को रिजर्व बैंक का गवर्नर बनाना चाहते हें ताकि भारत की मौद्रिक एवं वित्तीय नीतियों पर उनकी पकड़ बनी रहे और उनके हित सुरक्षित रहें।
मोदी अब इस जाल और खेल को समझ चुके हें और इससे बाहर आना चाहते हें , साथ ही जेटली और उनकी लॉबी की मुश्कें कसना चाहते हें या फिर उनसे निजात पाना चाहते हें। इसी कारण पहले डीजीसीए विवाद के बहाने जेटली- केजरीवाल में झगड़ा कराया गया और फिर जेटली के दुश्मन सुब्रमणियम स्वामी को राज्यसभा भेजा गया। स्वामी के माध्यम से गांधी परिवार, रघुराम राजन और जेटली केम्प के मंत्रियो व अफसरों को घेरा जा रहा है जो वास्तव में पिछली कोंग्रेस सरकार की नीतियों के अनुरूप ही अर्थव्यवस्था को चला रहे हें न की देश के हितों के अनुरूप। इस पलटवार से घबराये और मंत्री पद छिनने के डर से जेटली केम्प ने हड़बड़ाहट में काफी समय से लंबित ऍफ़डीआई, स्पेक्ट्रम नीलामी, टेक्सटाइल पालिसी आदि की घोषणा कर दी है और जीएसटी पर जरुरी बहुमत जुटाने का दावा किया है। जरुरी नहीं के इन सब निर्णयों से मोदी कैंप पूर्णतः सहमत हो। इन कारण इनमें बड़े बदलाब की पूरी संभावनाएं हें।
जेटली कैम्प को लगता है के एक बार फिर वह मोदी केम्प की आँखों में धूल झोंकने में कामयाब हो जायेगा और अपना एजेंडा लागू रखेगा।
इस बात का परीक्षण 26 जून के मंत्रिमण्डल विस्तार में हो जायेगा। गहराई से देखें तो लगता है अगले 3 से 4 महीनो में जेटली केम्प के लोगो की सरकार से सफाई तय है अगर मोदी ऐसा नहीं कर पाये तो उनके और देश के बुरे

while discussing about change writes ; In India change takes a lot more time.

The birth will be slow and perhaps painful. I believe it could be the birth of a new order which is not held up by the crumbling colonial pillars left behind by the Raj but is GENUINELY Indian ; a GC modern order, but not a slavish imitation of other modern orders”.

He goes on to say that – “For all its great achievements, the Nehru dynasty has stood like a Banyan tree, overshadowing the people and the institutions of India, and all Indians know that nothing grows under the Banyan tree”.

As Mark said , Change will be slow and painful, therefore for someone who doesn’t read and makes judgement based on perception will for quite some time not be able to see the change taking place or will pretend as if nothing is changing.

The way changes are coming in Railways, Power sector, Defense Production and in governance and at the same time accompanied by the resentment of the old forces indicate that the process of change has begun albeit slowly but firmly and is going to be painful.

Let us not undermine the capabilities of this termite ridden old Banyan tree which will still try its best to stop any one growing to the extent that it may even turn the soil upside down before falling down.

For a year or so we may witness more of Dadris, more of Kaniyahas, more of Owaisi style shouting but finally if the Society keeps its cool, acts maturely and continues to perform we will sail through and the old forces will die a natural death.

LET ME ADD to this every day the new stir media throws in your face is all doctored by forces who wish to topple Modi Govt as Modi has uprooted them and they are like fish out of the water The time has come to continue to support the man and keep your faith intact and we will see new India for sure bigger, better, stronger, corruption free , peaceful prosperous then ever before with people having better quality of life..

Real reason why there was spate of interviews about intolerance by the artists/writers etc

This is the translation of his article:
"Intolerance"

I learnt the meaning of “Power” when I visited Delhi in 1994 to receive my Sanskriti Samman award and stayed for two days in India International Centre. I did have some familiarities with Information and culture ministries. However, IIC is the place where “Power” is served on a gold plate.

IIC is located in a peaceful and luxurious bungalow with lawns, high class food and drinks, quietly moving waiters, the butter English spoken without the upper lip moving, lipsticked women gracefully adjusting their hair, the elegant welcome given to the inner circle members with signs and hugs without making any noise!

I have stayed in many star hotels later. But I have never seen anywhere the luxury and comfort of IIC.

IIC was established and funded by the Indian government as an independent body to promote arts and free thinking. If my memory serves me right, Dr. Karan Singh was also its head. I saw him in that evening.

I saw every intellectual that I had known through my reading of English language magazines. U R Ananthamurthy was staying there for almost four years almost as a permanent fixture. Girish Karnad was staying for a few days. Writers, journalists and thinkers such as Pritish Nandi, Makarant Parajpe, Shobha De were seen everywhere in the Centre.

It was true that I was overwhelmed that day. Arunmozhi (my wife) ran to Girish Karnad on spotting him and was thrilled to introduce herself to him. I was told that Nayantara Sehgal used to come there on daily basis to have a drink. I saw her that day too. I realized that the two other individuals who were given the award along with me, Rajdeep Sardesai and Anamika Haksar were regulars there.

They wear rough Kolkata kurtas and Kolhapuri chappals. Wear small glasses. Women in pure white hair and khadi saris. One of them, they said, was Kapila Vatsyayan. They said, Pupul Jayakar will also come. Wherever you turn, there were literary talks and art discussions.

That pomp kind of unnerved me. The ultra high intellectualism seen there somewhat alienated me. Venkat Swaminathan, who saw me the next day, immediately recognised my sense of discomfort. He said, "Hey, three fourth of this crowd is just a perfect horde of crows (the Tamil equivalent of psychophants). The snobs that make their living are draw their power by licking the boots of power centres. Most of them are mere power brokers. At best you may find one or two artists who you will really respect. And they can't bear this atmosphere for too long and will just run away.

But these are the people who decide what is culture for this country. They can talk about every thing in the world for one hour in colourful English with the right number of jargons. But on the 61st minute, the colour will start fading. Actually they don't know any thing in the real sense. Almost all are like the little boxes we find in attics which held hing a long time back", said Venkat Swaminathan.

Everyone will have four or five trusts in the name of Service Organizations or Cultural Organizations. They will be flying from one conference to the other. Once given accommodation in a government bungalow, they can never be removed from there. In Delhi alone this crowd has illegally occupied about 5,000 bungalows. There is another Power Centre similar to this in Delhi which is called the JNU. It is the same story there too.

Can't the government get rid of them?", I asked. He said, "normally governments do not think in that line. Because this crowd has stuck itself from the time of Nehru. They support each other. Even if some IAS officials try, they will fall at the right feet and escape".

"There is one more thing added to it" said Venkat Swaminathan. "Not only were these people just parasites, they also derive great power by showing themselves as progressive leftists. Did you notice it?". I said "Yes" with an amazement.

They are known throughout the world through the numerous seminars they attend. They are highly networked. Journalists around the world seek their opinion on whatever happens in India. They are the people who gave a leftist mask to the Congress Government. If you look at it that way, the amount spent on them is quite low”, he said. They are the trolls sitting on the head of India and nobody can do anything to them. They decide what is art or culture or thought of India.

I have often been to IIC with my Malayalam journalist friends. For them, this is the place to pick rumours and convert them in to news. They know there are no secrets as the day wears out and the spirits rise higher and higher in the head.

But I can only pity those people who engage in to political debates based on the supposedly rare gems of wisdoms dished out by these “intellectuals” through the middle pages of English newspapers. These intellectuals never actually know the real politics. They just shout on the basis of the superfluous knowledge and stand points, with the prime space enable by the network. That’s all.

Long time back when I wrote about this Circle, I had mentioned that Barkha Dutt is none but a power broker, my own friends fought with me for degrading a “progressive fighter”. Fortunately for me, within a few days, the brokering she did with Tata leaked out through the Nira Radia tapes. (Incidentally, what happened to that case, does any body know?). But even those stark revelations could not bring down Barkha Dutt from her exalted pedestal even for a month. That is the kind of power they have.

But now, for the first time in the history of independent India someone has dared to touch this power circle. Warnings were circulated at the lower level for the last about 6 months. Last week the Culture Ministry decided to send a notice to them. This, perhaps, is the reason for these intellectuals to suddenly flare up against “intolerance”.

For example, painter Jatin Das, father of actress Nandita Das is occupying a large government bungalow at one of the premium locations in Delhi free of cost for many years. Government has sent an eviction notice to him. This is the real reason for Nandita Das strongly speaking about intolerance in television channels and writing in English newspapers (all diligently carried by the network).

Even for a man as strong Modi, I think he has touched a wrong nerve. These elements are too powerful. They can destroy India through the media worldwide. They can create a picture that rivers of blood are flowing in India. They can make businessmen around the world to halt. They can wreck the tourism industry. The truth is there is no other power centre like this in India. Tolerating them is unavoidable for India. And Modi’s intolerance of them is extremely dangerous – not only for him but for the country itself. "

WHAT ARE YOU WORTH ?

Many people reveal that they have issues with their self worth. They do not always appreciate themselves and what they have. It is up to me to shift their focus towards the great things they have in their lives or how capable they are.
Self-worth can be damaged when we face difficulties and “failures”. I put failures in quotation marks because I think every “failure” is an opportunity in disguise. I did not always think like this so I understand how hard it is for my reader to recognize it. When things do not work out the way we expect them to, they create doubt. Doubt is very debilitating.

Doubt the doubt

A well-known speaker and my Guru Jack Canfield started his seminar in San Francisco by holding up a $20 bill in a room of 200 people.
He asked, “Who would like this $20 bill?”
Hands started going up.
He said, “I am going to give this $20 to one of you, but first, let me do this”, and he proceeded to crumple up the $20 dollar bill.
He then asked, “Who still wants it?”
Still the hands went up in the air.
“Well”, he replied, “What if I do this?” and he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty.
“Now, who still wants it?”
Still the hands went into the air.
“How come you still want it?” he asked.
“It is still worth $20″, came the answer.
“Then, my friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson”, said the speaker, “No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It is still worth $20.”
“Many times in our lives” he continued,
“We are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless.
