Doctor said a miracle that Trump is alive

Former President Donald Trump said it was a “miracle” that he survived after being shot in Saturday’s attack, according to a doctor who saw him.

A man was shot from a height during a Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, causing his ear to bleed.

A shooter killed rally firefighter Corey Comperatore and seriously injured both others. The gunman, Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, was shot by an undercover agent.

“The doctor at the hospital said he’s never seen anything like this, he called it a miracle,” Trump told the New York Post on Sunday, aboard a private jet flying to Milwaukee for the Republican National Convention.

“I shouldn’t be here, I should be dead,” he said.

According to the Washington Post, Trump has a large white scarf wrapped around his right ear, but his team does not allow photographs to be taken.

He said doctors told him they had never seen anyone who survived being hit by an AR-15.

We reached out to Trump's spokesperson via email for further comment.

Trump also told the Washington Post about a photo he took after the shooting of his face covered in blood and his fist in the air.

Many people say this is the most iconic image they have ever seen," he said. "They're right, I'm not dead. Usually, to have an iconic image, you have to die." Following the shooting, President Biden called him and described the president as "great."

The FBI is investigating the shooting. The agency said Sunday that a motive for the attack has not yet been determined, but investigators believe Crooks acted alone.

His name was unanimously recommended on 12 July by a council chaired by Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud and consisting of Justices Sanjiv Khanna, B R Gavai, Surya Kant and Hrishikesh Roy.

Justice Singh was born on 1 March 1963 in Imphal, Manipur, to Justice N Ibotombi Singh of the Gauhati High Court, who was the first Chief Justice of Manipur, and N Gomathi Devi.

He practiced briefly at the Supreme Court of India before moving to the Gauhati High Court. Justice Singh was admitted as a senior advocate by the Gauhati High Court in 2008, appointed as an additional judge of the court in 2011 and promoted to a permanent judge in 2012.

He was appointed as a judge on the establishment of the Manipur High Court in 2013. He was transferred to the Gauhati High Court in 2018 and subsequently promoted as Chief Justice.

With his appointment, Manipur state has representation in the Supreme Court for the first time after over 50 years of statehood.
