The final results of the US election 2024 will be announced after November 5th. However, early exit polls indicate that Donald Trump is ahead in six battleground states. Kamala Harris is currently leading in one swing state, as per data from Atlas Polls for swing states. In the US election map, there are seven crucial battleground states.
The states are North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania. Trump is ahead in North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, Michigan, Pennsylvania. India and China are making progress in their bilateral relations following the disengagement of troops at the LAC. However, there are still lingering issues that need to be addressed from their standoff.
External affairs minister S Jaishankar stated on Sunday that the disengagement of Indian and Chinese troops on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) has created opportunities for further improvements in bilateral relations. Nonetheless, both sides will need to tackle various issues that stem from the four-year military standoff.
An agreement was reached between the two countries on October 21 regarding patrolling in the Ladakh sector of the LAC. This agreement paved the way for disengagement and the resolution of issues stemming from the face-off that began in April-May 2022. Indian soldiers are currently conducting patrols at the two "friction points" of Demchok and Depsang to confirm the withdrawal of forces.
Jaishankar stated during an interaction with the Indian community in Brisbane, Australia, that India and China have made "some progress" following a period of tense relations due to the standoff on the LAC. "We have made some progress in what we call disengagement, when troops were in close proximity, which could potentially lead to a negative incident," he explained.

"Each Canadian has the privilege to freely and safely practice their religion. The police were appreciated for their quick response and dedication to thoroughly investigating the incident.

Some video recordings showed fights and people carrying sticks near the temple.
Canadian MP Chandra Arya, a member of Trudeau’s Liberal Party, criticized the event, linking the violence to Khalistani radicals.
"A red line has been crossed by Canadian Khalistani extremists today," Arya said on X, describing it as a bold show of pro-Khalistani radicalism in Canada. Arya raised worries that supporters of Khalistani cause might have influenced Canada's political and law enforcement structures, citing a perceived increasing danger.
The situation has exacerbated already strained relations between India and Canada, which deteriorated further when Trudeau blamed the Indian government for playing a role in the 2023 killing of Khalistani separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Vancouver. Both nations removed top diplomats, adding more complexity to their diplomatic relationships.
