'It has been less than 100 days, however…’: Prime Minister Modi promotes ‘significant measures’ to mobilize Haryana voters for BJP third consecutive win.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the people of Haryana to back the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for a third term in the upcoming state polls. Speaking at a rally in Kurukshetra, Modi stated, “I implore all of you to assist BJP in once again establishing a government in Haryana.”
“You supported me in serving all of you for the third successive time in Delhi, and with the evident enthusiasm and zeal here, it is evident that Haryana has made up its mind for a BJP’s hat-trick this time.” Modi emphasized the BJP's track record in governance, highlighting recent initiatives to aid farmers, the underprivileged, youth, and women. “During the Lok Sabha elections campaign, I pledged to make substantial decisions for these segments of society within the initial 100 days of the BJP administration.” Our government has initiated projects worth ₹15 lakh crore in less than 100 days. Three crore permanent houses have been sanctioned for underprivileged families," he stated.
The Prime Minister compared the BJP's achievements to that of the Congress, highlighting its shortcomings in the adjacent state of Himachal Pradesh. Congress made false promises to every segment of society there. None of the requirements were met, leading government workers to resort to strike action in order to obtain their pay. This event marked the premier's inaugural campaign event for the upcoming Haryana elections. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini had previously encouraged a strong turnout for the event and demonstrated optimism in the BJP's prospects. He affirmed that the party's symbol, the lotus, would thrive for a third term in the state.
