This unexpected change in trajectory and the aircraft’s disappearance from tracking may suggest it had been shot down, or alternatively, that its transponder had been deactivated. According to police, the two educational institutions are located in RK Puram and Paschim Vihar, and it has been noted that fire services have also been alerted regarding the threat.

In response, school administrators took immediate action to send students home.
Authorities, including police, fire service personnel, canine units, bomb detection specialists, and local officers, arrived on-site to carry out search operations within the school grounds.
A police representative reported that nothing deemed suspicious has been uncovered at either DPS or GD Goenka thus far.
This event follows closely on the heels of a bomb threat that was emailed to Venkateshwar Global School in Rohini just a week ago, which was later determined to be a false alarm.
