Donald Trump to simplify immigration ‘easy’? What President-elect stated 

The President-elect of the US indicated that individuals aspiring to relocate to America must not include those emerging from prisons, nor individuals who have been incarcerated for homicide. 

In advance of assuming the role in the Oval Office come January, US President-elect Donald Trump proclaimed on Sunday that he will implement his comprehensive deportation strategy while simultaneously facilitating the legal entry of individuals into the States, a shift that may be beneficial for Indians. 

Only weeks following his victory in the 2024 US Presidential elections, the Republican leader affirmed his intentions to announce a national emergency regarding border security and to deploy the United States military to execute mass deportations of undocumented migrants. 


While immigration emerged as a primary topic of discussion during the election campaign, Trump's proposal raises significant concerns for international students and staff members employed in the United States.
