While visitors are enjoying a ‘white Christmas’ in Shimla, Manali, and other popular tourist spots of Himachal Pradesh, the snowfall has caused over 200 roads to close, a rise in hotel reservations, and four fatalities from vehicle skidding incidents.

The Meteorological department has allegedly forecasted rain and snow in isolated areas throughout parts of the state, especially Shimla, from Friday evening until Sunday afternoon, with the most intense precipitation expected on Saturday.
