PM Modi writes article honoring Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his 100th birth anniversary: ‘Wasn’t one to cling to power’
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his reflections on the influence of Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the country in an article commemorating the 100th birth anniversary of the former Prime Minister.
On the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of the former PM and BJP luminary Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his salutations, describing him as the “architect of India’s progression into the 21st century that laid the groundwork for the nation’s economic uplift.”
Modi articulated his reflections regarding Vajpayee’s impact on the country in an article published in numerous newspapers on the 100th birth anniversary of the past prime minister on Wednesday.
Modi mentioned that he spent a substantial portion of his lengthy legislative career primarily within the Opposition but never harbored any sense of resentment, despite the Congress party sinking to new depths by labeling him a “traitor.”
“He remains prominent as a leader who still motivates countless individuals,” Modi stated in the article.
Within the article, Modi also included photographs capturing the moments he experienced with Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Modi expressed that it was an honor for many members of the Bharatiya Janata Party, including himself, to learn from and engage with someone of Vajpayee’s caliber.
