Singer Mubarak Al Rashed performs Saare Jahaan Se Accha at community gathering hosted by PM Narendra Modi in Kuwait
During an interaction with ANI, Mubarak Al Rashed conveyed his pride in the robust connection that exists between Kuwait and India.
Kuwaiti artist Mubarak Al Rashed rendered the patriotic Indian tune Saare Jahaan Se Accha at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's community gathering, termed HalaModi, which took place at the Shaikh Saad Al Abdullah Indoor Sports Complex in Kuwait.
This occasion is a segment of PM Modi's momentous two-day visit to Kuwait, marking the first time in 43 years that an Indian prime minister has traveled to the Gulf state.
In his conversation with ANI, Al Rashed highlighted the strong ties between Kuwait and India, stating, "He (PM Modi) referred to my homeland, Kuwait. He discussed the relations shared by both nations... I take pride in being Kuwaiti. He encouraged Kuwaitis to travel to India..."
Prime Minister Modi was greeted with enthusiasm upon his arrival in Kuwait on Saturday.
Upon his entrance, PM Modi was welcomed by Kuwait's first Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence and Interior, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, in conjunction with the nation's Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya and various other important figures.
In his announcement upon departure, PM Modi expressed anticipation for his discussions with the Amir of Kuwait, the Crown Prince, and the Prime Minister of the country.
He remarked that these discussions would offer a chance to devise a strategy for a progressive partnership that would serve the interests of the peoples of both nations and the broader region.
