Amid the commotion surrounding Jagdeep Dhankhar's sudden departure from the role of Vice President of India, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh on Tuesday scrutinized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message regarding the former VP.
In a critique of PM Modi, Jairam Ramesh noted that the prime minister’s message has "added to the enigma surrounding his [Dhankhar’s] sudden resignation."
On X, the Congress general secretary stated that the "kisanputra" has been deprived of even a respectful farewell, labeling Dhankhar’s resignation as "coerced."
"The PM's lack of a post on X about Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar's coerced resignation has only intensified the enigma of his sudden departure. Surely the PM could have shown more generosity—after all, he is the ultimate expert in hypocrisy. The kisanputra is being robbed of a dignified send-off," he commented on X (previously Twitter).
After accepting his resignation, PM Modi on Tuesday expressed his wishes for good health to Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar via social media.
