Bilkis Bano case: Convicts move Supreme Court seeking extension of time to surrender, cites ill health
Govindhbhai Nai, one of the convicts in the Bilkispano crime case, approached the Supreme Court seeking to give four weeks time to the prison authorities concerned to think about the trust issue.

Update: The sixth petition has now been filed by convicts Radheshyam Bhagwan Das and Rajubhai Babulal Soni. Both men wanted to leave the country for weeks, citing the need to provide financial support to their families.
Radheshyam is a criminal who is believed to have deceived the Supreme Court by concealing the facts and was eventually granted a reduction in his sentence.
