Donald Trump accused Joe Biden, saying that the American president led us "at the time of World War III." His claims are gaining momentum at a time when the United States is grappling with internal failures and increasingly resorting to external conflicts to maintain its power. After three soldiers died and approximately 40 soldiers were injured in the drone attack on the
US base, the Republican presidential candidate said, "Our country cannot survive with Joe Biden as president." Biden blamed "military forces supported by Iran" for the attack. He promised to hold America accountable for deaths and injuries "at a time of our choosing, at a time of our choosing."
After offering his condolences to the families of the victims, Trump wrote: "This shame to America is yet another reason for the horror and horror of Joe Biden's failure, power and confidence." Trump even said that if I were president, there would be no death strike, or even a chance.

"Just as the Iran-backed Hamas attack on Israel will not happen, the war in Ukraine will not happen, and there will now be world-wide peace, no. Instead, we are on the verge of World War III."

Iran says this claim is "absurd".
Recent drone attacks near the US base on the Jordan-Syria border have increased tensions in the Middle East. Although Iran denies direct involvement, it has participated in several attacks aimed at removing the United States from the region. It was the first time that US soldiers were killed in the Middle East since the start of the conflict between Hamas and Israel. But Iran says accusations of its involvement are "nonsense" and that the forces it supports "did not take orders from Tehran."
