BJP tightens hold on the Hindi heartland
The chances of the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections have improved due to the governments in many states and the strong presence in the party.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday reasserted its dominance in the Indian heartland by renewing its agreement with the Janata Dal or JD(U) to form the government in Bihar.
The BJP has challenged the leaders of opposition parties as well as the governments in Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh, and the candidates who won the three Lok Sabha elections have said this together on many occasions. In the Lok Sabha, the BJP holds 170 of the 218 seats in the central Indian state.
To improve its position in Bihar (where the party holds 17 out of 40 seats), it opted for politics and power in the polls, ignoring the pressure of the JD(U) Rebellion on leader Nitish Kumar, who broke away from the BJP-led Congress. He has met the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) twice - once in 2013 when he opposed the election of Narendra Modi as the second prime minister in 2022. 4,444 BJP leaders, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the party's support in Bihar will grow but the impact of the recovery will be more political in an environment where people are trying to overcome these differences. Compete as a group.
"A blow to the India Alliance for Inclusive Development, especially the collapse of the Congress party, will cause headwinds for the BJP. Nitish Kumar is the key to making the alliance the main thrust, severing ties and returning to the BJP. A senior leader of the party " is an article that will help us about politics," he said.
