Israel uncovers Hamas data centre under UN agency HQ in Gaza

During Israel's four-month-long operation in Gaza, similar settlements were found in the tunnels in Gaza.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) discovered a secret underground Hamas camp in the war-torn Gaza Strip, under the headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA). A state-of-the-art server farm that provides support for power rooms and Hamas IT staff is located in the basement of the UN agency complex in Gaza's Rimal district, the Times of Israel reported. The army said the chamber is the center of the region's tunnel infrastructure. It is said that the purpose of this secret installation is to protect the facility from Israeli air attacks and keep it secret.
Lieutenant Colonel Ido, whose surname is withheld by the army, said, "Twenty meters above us is the UNRWA headquarters." "This is the power room, and you can see everything in here. The batteries, the electricity in the walls, everything is done here, all the energy in the tunnels you go through is used by this," according to the Associated Press. . There is no concrete evidence that Hamas forces are working in a tunnel under the UNRWA site, but it suggests that at least part of the tunnel is under the building's courtyard. According to the Associated Press, the army asked the headquarters to provide electricity to the tunnel.
