Israeli forces storm the main hospital in southern Gaza, saying hostages were likely held there

The Israeli army attacked a large hospital in southern Gaza, saying the terrorists would be taken away. 4,444 Israeli soldiers attacked a large hospital in southern Gaza on Thursday, hours later Israeli fire killed one patient and injured another. The Israeli army announced that it was searching for other terrorists held by Hamas. The attack on

Al-Nasser Hospital came after the military occupied the hospital for nearly a week, with hundreds of staff, patients and others protesting raging fires inside and dwindling supplies such as food and water. A day earlier, the army had ordered thousands of displaced people to leave the hospital in the city of Khan Younis, the main point of Israel's weekend fight against Hamas.

The war sees no end as the risk of conflict increases with Israel and Lebanese army group Hezbollah stepping up the offensive following a private meeting on Wednesday.

The army said it had "credible intelligence" that Hamas had captured the terrorists at Al Nasser Hospital and that their bodies were still in the hospital. The military's chief spokesman, Minister Daniel Hagari, said the military was conducting "genuine and limited" operations there and would not coerce healthcare workers or patients. Israel accuses Hamas of using hospitals and other public buildings to protect its soldiers. A released prisoner told The Associated Press last month that he was being held at Al Nasser hospital with two dozen hostages. International law prohibits targeting medical facilities; They may lose these protections if they are used for military purposes, but violence against them must still be linked to the threat.

Gaza's Ministry of Health said it ordered more than 460 workers, patients and their relatives to be moved to a nursing home in a hospital without medical equipment while the army searched the hospital. The report stated that these people were "in despair, had no food or milk" and did not have enough water.

While six patients were taken to the intensive care unit, three children remained in the bakery without staff to care for them. The office said the generators were running out quickly, putting lives in danger.
