Budget 2024: In her record seventh Union Budget, Nirmala Sitharaman is expected to announce an increase in basic allowance under both old and new tax brackets, providing a major relief to the middle class.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present her seventh consecutive Budget today, Tuesday, July 23. The Budget 2024-25 is seen as the action plan of the Modi 3.0 government to outline the roadmap for India's development for the next five years.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday said the Finance Minister will present a strong Budget and ensure that government assurances reach the common people. Prime Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the economic report in Parliament yesterday on the first day of the Monsoon Session.
