"Affection For Bharat": Amit Shah Commends and Presents Guitar to Mizoram's "Child Prodigy"
During his recent trip to the Northeast, Union Home Minister Amit Shah presented a guitar to 7-year-old Esther Lalduhawmi Hnamte from Mizoram after her touching performance of Vande Mataram in Aizawl on Saturday.
"Unity through love for Bharat brings us together. I was profoundly touched listening to Esther Lalduhawmi Hnamte, the wonder child of Mizoram, sing Vande Mataram today in Aizawl. The affection of this seven-year-old for Bharat Mata was evident in her beautiful song, making the experience of listening to her enchanting," Mr. Shah shared in a post on X.
Esther Hnamte, a young musical talent hailing from Mizoram, first captured the nation's attention in 2020 when a video of her singing 'Maa Tujhe Salaam' went viral. Her impressive vocal abilities and strong patriotic feelings earned her widespread acclaim. She has received several honors from the Mizoram government, along with special recognition from the Governor.
Amit Shah has been visiting Assam for three days since March 14 (Friday). On March 15, he traveled to Mizoram, where he took part in the land transfer ceremony involving the Assam Rifles' land being handed over to the Mizoram government.
