Delhi excise policy case: Arvind Kejriwal's judicial custody extended till July 3

Apart from Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi's Rouse Avenue court also extended the remand of excise case accused Vinod Chauhan, who was arrested in May, till July 3. Both were produced in the court through video conferencing from Tihar Jail after the completion of remand.

The ED lawyer said that Vinod Chauhan had received Rs 25 crore from K. Kavitha's PA through Abhishek Boimpally for the Goa elections, reported ANI. He also said that a chargesheet would be filed against Vinod Chauhan by the end of this month.

During the court hearing, Additional Solicitor General SV Raju said everything related to the case would ultimately come down to Kejriwal's role. He also clarified that the allegation that Kejriwal was demanding a bribe of Rs 100 crore was made by the CBI and not the ED.
