As Joe Biden is under intense criticism for withdrawing from the presidential race, his biggest donor has targeted two of the president's close allies following Thursday's debate disaster.
John Morgan has alleged that Anita Dunn, a senior White House adviser, and her husband, Bob Bauer, Biden's lawyer, "have been cheating long enough." The owner of law firm Morgan & Morgan expressed his concern after the debate in a letter to X: "Anita Dunn and her husband should be banished from Biden's world. These two con artists have been cheating for a long time. She negotiated with Trump in a format that was tailored to him... made him seem rational..."
Morgan said Biden had spent a week preparing for the debate with him, harshly criticized Bob Bauer, and emphasized that the beginning and end of the debate were important. Despite all that practice, the debate was "shit."
