Delhi air pollution: The Delhi government declared that face-to-face classes for classes 10 and 12 will be halted.
The air quality in Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad and Gurugram surged to "alarmingly high" levels, hitting 500-mark on most AQI stations (severe plus) even on Tuesday morning, November 19, as a thick layer of smog covered the National Capital Region (NCR) for the seventh consecutive day.
The Union health secretary issued a revised advisory on Monday to states and union territories regarding air pollution, while Delhi University and Jawaharlal Nehru University have decided to transition to online classes until November 23 and November 22 respectively, in light of deteriorating air quality in the national capital.
