Maharashtra CM agreement finalized? Eknath Shinde's optimistic response following discussion with Amit Shah
Maharashtra CM updates: Eknath Shinde emphasized that there were no barriers concerning the chief minister's role.
As uncertainty surrounds the selection of the chief minister from the Mahayuti coalition, Maharashtra's caretaker chief minister Eknath Shinde labeled the first post-election discussion with Union minister Amit Shah and BJP chief JP Nadda as "constructive and encouraging."
Eknath Shinde declared that the ultimate choice for the chief minister's role would probably be made in another gathering set to take place subsequently.
"The discussion was constructive and encouraging. This marked our initial meeting. We talked with Amit Shah and JP Nadda... There will be an additional meeting of the Mahayuti. In this assembly, a resolution will be reached regarding who will assume the Chief Minister position. The meeting is scheduled to take place in Mumbai," Eknath Shinde shared with the media.
‘Ladla Bhai has come’: Eknath Shinde about his part in Mahayuti
Previously, Eknath Shinde reiterated that there were no hurdles concerning the chief minister's role, asserting that "Ladla Bhai" is a designation that carries greater importance for him than anything else. "I clarified my position in the press conference yesterday, stating that there are no obstacles regarding the chief minister of Mahayuti. This 'ladla bhai' has arrived in Delhi, and this 'ladla bhai' is a title that surpasses all else for me," Shinde remarked before the meeting.
Shinde mentioned on Wednesday that he would abide by any decision made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the state's CM representation.

The inaugural formal gathering of the Mahayuti alliance, which included Eknath Shinde, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis, NCP head Ajit Pawar, and additional Mahayuti figures, convened on Thursday with Amit Shah and BJP national president JP Nadda in attendance.
