Republican figure Nikki Haley labeled it “yet another insult to America,” after Biden’s decisions to lessen the sentences of killers and issue a pardon for his son. 
Republicans Unite in Condemnation 

The choice to grant the country's highest civilian award to Soros drew backlash from various Republican officials, intensifying the debate. GOP leader Nikki Haley characterized it as “yet another insult to America,” following Biden’s moves to shorten the sentences of murderers and pardon his son. “Sixteen days is a long wait until the inauguration. What else might he attempt to sneak in? January 20th cannot arrive fast enough,” she remarked.

Donald Trump Jr., the son of the president-elect Donald Trump, expressed his dissatisfaction as well, sharing footage of a pizza delivery person who rushed into a flaming building to rescue five children, arguing that the driver “merits the Presidential Medal of Freedom… Unlike the buffoons like Soros and others who received it from Biden this week.”
