Benjamin Netanyahu denounces the savage murder of Israeli diplomats, appreciates US assistance: 'Terrorist executed in cold blood'

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu expressed gratitude towards President Trump and the American people for their backing, denounced the assassination of two diplomats, and highlighted the urgent need for hostages' release.

PM Benjamin Netanyahu categorically denounced the savage murder of two Israeli diplomats in the US, labeling it a "cold-blooded" act. He conveyed appreciation to the US for its support of Israel during this challenging period.

The event took place around 9:15 p.m. local time outside the Capital Jewish Museum, close to an FBI office on F Street. The two officials from the embassy were shot as they exited an event held at the museum, as reported by ANI, citing law enforcement sources.

In a video statement shared on X, the Israeli leader stated, “A horrific event occurred last night in Washington. A ruthless terrorist shot dead a young, beautiful couple - Yaron Lischinsky and Sara Milgrim. Yaron had just purchased an engagement ring for Sarah, intending to propose to her next week in Jerusalem. They were eager to embark on a joyful new chapter together. Sadly, that future was ripped away. Yaron and Sarah weren’t victims of a random attack. The terrorist who heartlessly executed them did so solely because he wanted to kill Jews.”
