Arvind Kejriwal seeks permission to consult doctor for 15 minutes a day through social media conversation in video while he is a diabetic. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday filed a petition in the Rouse Avenue court requesting authorities to provide insulin to Tihar prisoners. The court started hearing Arvind Kejriwal's defense at 14:00. Arvind Kejriwal sought permission to consult his doctor via video chat for 15 minutes every day about his diabetes and changes in blood sugar. He also tried to allow his wife to join the video conference, Live Law reported.
The Chief Minister of Delhi said that since his detention, his blood sugar has risen from dangerous levels due to severe diabetes, increasing the risk to his health.
Tam on Thursday, Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena asked the jail superintendent to submit a factual report on AAP's alleged failure to provide insulin to Arvind Kejriwal in Tihar Jail. Delhi Cabinet Minister Atishi accused the prime minister of not providing food and insulin in the prison, killing him and arresting him by the Inspector General of Police in case intervention was barred.
