Narendra Modi's 'Aurangzeb' attack on Rahul Gandhi: 'Nawab, not a single word against Nizam...'

Narendra Modi says 'Congress shehzada' to appease Congress party vote bank said that he had done so.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday at a rally in Karnataka's Belagavi district accused Congress stalwart Rahul Gandhi of committing atrocities on "the kings of India" but "Nawabs, Nizams, Sultans and Badshahs". He claimed that he did not object to any of his statements. PM Modi further said that Gandhi and the Congress never criticized Mughal emperor Aurangzeb for destroying Hindu temples.

“Shehzada of the Congress says that the kings of India were cruel. They took away the wealth of the poor as they wished. Congress shehzadas have insulted great personalities like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Rani Chinanamma, but their good governance and patriotism still motivate us. Is Shehzada unaware of the contributions of the Mysr royal family, of which we are all proud? , and it was Congress that brought independence and democracy and prevented this by enforcing the Constitution.

PM Modi said the 'Congress Shehzada' made the remarks to appease the Congress vote bank against the atrocities of Nawabs, Nizams, Sultans and Badshahs... Congress does not remember Aurangzeb's atrocities, which destroyed thousands of temples. The Congress forms political alliances with parties that praise Aurangzeb. They are not talking about all the people who destroyed our pilgrimage sites, plundered them, killed our people, killed our cows,” he added.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Raja of Banaras who was instrumental in establishing Banaras Hindu University was the Maharaja of Baroda who recognized the talent of BR Ambedkar.
