While entering the court, Kejriwal criticized President Modi and said that "what the Prime Minister is doing is not good for the country". The Police Department (ED) took the suspect to the courthouse under strict security measures. ED has been seeking judicial review against Kejriwal and says there is no need for further investigation at present. Additional Solicitor General SV Raju represented the ED.
Kejriwal's legal team has demanded that he be allowed to carry medicines and several books, including the Bhagavad Gita and Ramayana, while he is in judicial custody.
The other day, Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal and Delhi leaders Saurabh Bharadwaj and Atishi arrived at the Rouse Avenue court.
Kejriwal was arrested by the ED in connection with a financial case related to the Delhi excise law. Its administration has been adjourned at Louth Avenue Court for the past four days. Addressing those supporting the protest on Sunday, Sunita Kejriwal shared information about her husband and questioned whether Prime Minister Modi's actions were right.
