Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday (April 14) called for a "strong and stable government with a majority" amid tensions between Iran and Israel following the Iranian drone attack. 13 April. Explanation above.

Iran's drone strike comes a day after Israel's suspected attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria, killing two Iranian generals and a total of 12 people. This marked the first time Iran took direct military action against its arch-enemy Israel, challenging the legacy of the ongoing war between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
