4 Delhi institutions get bomb threat emails, second occurrence this week

Four educational institutions in Delhi received emails containing bomb threats early Friday morning, prompting a search involving multiple agencies at their sites, according to ANI.

This incident is reminiscent of a previous occurrence on December 9, during which at least 44 institutions were similarly sent bomb threat emails, later determined by police to be false alarms.

A representative from the Delhi Fire Services mentioned that notifications about the threat emails came in from Bhatnagar International School located in Paschim Vihar (4:21 am), Cambridge School situated in Shri Niwas Puri (6:23 am), DPS Amar Colony found in East of Kailash (6:35 am), and one additional school.

The fire services, law enforcement, bomb detection units, and canine squads have reached the educational institutions to perform inspections.

School administration has notified parents to refrain from sending their children to school for lessons today.

A law enforcement representative indicated that the inspections at the educational institutions are still in progress.
