Two trains in Tamil Nadu collided, causing 12 coaches to derail and injuring passengers. The incident occurred when a passenger train traveling from Mysore to Darbhanga collided with a stationary goods train at Kavaraippettai railway station in Tiruvallur district, near Chennai. The express train's parcel van ignited, resulting in injuries to 19 passengers as reported. At least 12 passenger train coaches have derailed.
