Not dating: Elon Musk clarifies as internet pairs him up with Italy's Giorgia Meloni

Elon Musk clarifies he is 'not dating' Italian politician Giorgia Meloni following internet speculation pairing them together. Musk addressed a post questioning their potential relationship, leading to online labeling of the duo as a "perfect couple" after Musk praised Meloni at an awards ceremony in New York during the United Nations General Assembly. Netizens expressed excitement over the possibility of the two dating, with comments such as, "I am totally shipping these two." "Flawless" and "That represents the type of international power duo I support." Some users also commented, "That's Amore (That's love)."

"I desire to find someone who gazes at me the way Meloni gazes at Musk," another user expressed.

Nevertheless, Musk put an end to all speculation on Wednesday by responding to a post questioning whether he and Meloni "would date."

In response, Musk stated: "Not dating."

This is not the initial occasion where the internet has linked the two prominent figures. In December of last year, numerous posts on X (formerly Twitter) alleged that Elon Musk and Giorgia Meloni were in attendance together at a political festival in Rome, following Musk's acceptance of an invitation from Meloni. Presenting Giorgia Meloni with an Atlantic Council Global Citizen Award, Elon Musk expressed his pride in bestowing the accolade upon someone whom he described as having inner beauty that surpassed her outward appearance. He lauded Meloni for her authenticity, honesty, and truthfulness, qualities that he noted are not always associated with politicians. Meloni was recognized for her unwavering support of the EU and for being the first female Prime Minister of Italy.
