The Israeli military conducted air raids on Ras Isa and Hodeidah in Yemen. These attacks in western Yemen occurred following Houthis claiming they had launched a missile at Ben Gurion International Airport near Tel Aviv. Israel's military stated that it has carried out air raids on Houthi targets in Yemen, raising concerns of a potential broader regional conflict amid increased Israeli strikes on Gaza and Lebanon.

 The military reported that numerous aircraft, including fighter jets, targeted power plants and sea port facilities at the Ras Isa and Hodeidah ports. The incident resulted in the deaths of at least four individuals, including one port worker and three electric engineers, as reported by Houthi-affiliated Al Masirah TV, citing health officials. 

Power outages were experienced in most areas of Hodeidah due to the air raids, as confirmed by local residents. This attack occurred the day after the Houthis announced the firing of a ballistic missile towards Ben Gurion International Airport near Tel Aviv, Israel. The Iran-aligned group has been carrying out a series of drone and missile attacks targeting Israel and Israeli-related vessels in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab al-Mandeb Strait since November of the previous year. 

The Houthis claim these actions are in support of Palestinians facing Israeli aggression in Gaza. The Israeli military statement accused the Houthis of collaborating with Iran and Iraqi militias to orchestrate attacks against Israel, destabilize the region, and disrupt global maritime activities.
