President Joe Biden said for the first time on Wednesday that the United States would freeze some arms shipments to Israel if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu orders a major crackdown on the city of Rafah. It is accepted that these weapons were used to kill civilians in Gaza.

Biden said, "We are not giving up Israel's security. We are giving up Israel's ability to wage war in these regions." said.
Biden said the United States will continue to supply Israel with defensive weapons, including the Iron Dome air defense system, but other deliveries will be halted if a large-scale offensive on the ground begins in Rafah.
"We will continue to increase Israel's security in the Iron Dome and its ability to respond to recent attacks from the Middle East," he said. "But the truth is, this is not true. We will not give weapons and big guns to the people there. The Pentagon announced that "high-fire bombs" were sent, but the Pentagon stated that it has not yet made a final decision on the delivery, and that it is investigating the possibility of selling or replacing other ammunition.
