Internationals ICC announces T20 World Cup warm-up schedule: India vs. Bangladesh, Australia vs West Indies are important. While the International Cricket Federation has announced the warm-up schedule for the 2024 T20 World Cup, India will face Bangladesh on June 1 and Australia will face the West Indies on May 30. It is available in two locations in the United States, Trinidad and Trinidad. The match between the West Indies and Australia at Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad and Tobago will be open to fans.
The venues for the 16 warm-up games are: Grand Prairie Cricket Ground in Grand Prairie, Texas; Broward County Stadium in Broward County, Florida; There will be 20 overs per team in the
warm-up match and there will be no T20 internationals as teams will be allowed to field all members of their 15-man squad. Unlike previous rules, teams can play up to two warm-up games depending on how they arrived at the event.
The venue for India's warm-up match against Bangladesh (the last training session before the main event, which starts on June 3) has not been announced yet.
The different arrival dates of each team create a special place ahead of the World Cup. Among Test-playing nations, Australia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Ireland and Afghanistan are the only teams to stage two warm-up matches. There is one in India and the West Indies. While South Africa will be the only team competing in the group stage, Pakistan, England and New Zealand will not play warm-up matches before the World Cup.
