Hamas Says It Launched 'Big Missile' Attack On Tel Aviv

The Qassam Brigades said in a statement on its Telegram channel on Sunday that the rocket was fired in response to what it called "Zionist killings of civilians." Hamas' Qassam Brigade

said it launched "massive rockets" into Tel Aviv on Sunday after Israeli forces heard an alarm warning of canister fireworks in Tel Aviv on Sunday.

Qassam Brigades said in a statement on its Telegram channel on Sunday that the rocket was fired in response to "Zionists killing civilians". Tel Aviv has not heard of the rocket fire for the last four months. The Israeli military did not immediately say why the alarm was sounded.


Hamas Al Aqsa TV said rockets were fired from the Gaza corridor. The attack showed that the Islamist group is still capable of firing long-range rockets despite more than seven months of brutal Israeli air and ground attacks.
