Hezbollah launches drone attack on Israeli military facilities
The Iran-backed Hezbollah militant group launched a massive revenge attack after the Israeli military targeted more than 10 villages in southern Lebanon on August 22. Hezbollah said it attacked a number of strategic Israeli military positions in the northern part of the country by launching "squadrons of attack drones" and "heavy artillery shells". Hezbollah said it targeted the Branit barracks, the Kiryat Shmona settlement and the al-Alam Israeli Defense Forces location.
