Israel declares a 48-hour state of emergency after Hezbollah attacks


Israel, which is already at war with Hamas in Gaza, has warned its citizens to expect rockets and drones fired by Iran-backed Hezbollah. Israel announced today that it was carrying out pre-emptive strikes in Lebanon after discovering preparations for "large-scale" attacks by the Iran-backed Hezbollah group.
