'They can't save': ahead of planned attack, Iran's army chief vows to destroy Israel

Before the planned attack on Israel, the head of the Iranian army Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi vowed to destroy the Jewish state.

After the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran last week, which Iran blamed on Israel, Iran vowed revenge. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei ordered direct attacks against Israel and Israel and the United States believed an attack was considered imminent.

While the Iranian attack could trigger a full-scale war in the Middle East, Mousavi said that Israel could not stop its annihilation and that the end of the State of Israel was not far away. Mousavi said Israel was resorting to war to try to stop the destruction of the state. Mousavi added that a "strong" and "resolute" response to Haniyeh's killing was in sight.

Iran is committed to destroying Israel

Since Israel cannot save itself from annihilation, it has no future, Mousavi said.

Iran has been the main enemy of Israel since the establishment of the regime after the Islamic Revolution of 1979, it opposes the existence of the State of Israel and is committed to its destruction. Iran considers Israel a "cancerous tumor" that must be removed from the face of the earth. Although embodied in the ideology of the Islamic Revolution, Supreme Leader Khamenei also tweeted.
