In a recent interview, Elton John lauded Donald Trump for his iconic "Little Rocket Man" nickname for Kim Jong Un, expressing admiration for the cleverness of the moniker. The music icon noted how the nickname was inspired by his own popular song, and he found it quite amusing. John, who has maintained a positive relationship with Trump for a long time and has even had him come to his concerts, revealed how the nickname made him chuckle.
Alternatively, in order to steer clear of contentious political territory, instead of publicly supporting individual political leaders, John urged voters to support causes such as individual liberties and equity, all while promoting a 'more peaceful and secure America.'

Throughout his presidency, Trump frequently sparred with Kim Jong Un over North Korea's missile tests, commonly referring to him as "little rocket man" as a form of taunting.
